Uh are you aware that Hwang SH also got a ton of shit from fans for being inconsistent? Especially when he was younger?

There is the sort of inconsistency many players have. And then there is the sort of inconsistency that Son shows, which is at another level altogether. Son will be back in Bundesliga very soon.

 

Hwang SH was infamous for being especially inconsistent in his younger days, just like Son.

And as much as I respect him, a young HSH most likely wouldn't even get significant minutes in this Tottenham squad.

I didn't agree to anything. Even Lee Dong-gook would score goals if he had the likes of Alli, Kane, Dembele, etc. on his squad. And he wouldn't forget how to dribble and lose the ball at every opportunity only weeks after showing his top form.

I think you know that you were completely wrong about HSH and made a fool out of yourself in the process.

Son scored 12 goals for a poor Hamburg team in a season when he was like 20 years old. The only KPA we've ever had who could score on par with or better than Son was CBK. None of the 2002 "Golden Generation" guys were able to do anything close to what Son has been doing in Europe.

 

It's not an enigma, K league defenders (and at AFC level in general) suck especially in the tactical aspect of the game...so it's easy for a striker to shine. But then you come to the real world and get lost.

Son was never meant for Premier football. Just the physical aspect of it I think...

 

More than the physical aspect... rather his attidute when is not in a good day (quite often). I've seen smaller player play much better in the premier league...Coutinho for example.
