Honestly did anyone think that HMB would work miracles with the limited time he had and the state we where in when he took charge and no one expected Lee Chung Yong and Koo to be so out of touch.

That's just a shocking record... I'm thinking that's easily the lowest winning percentage since Verbeek, probably even less than him. Sure, if WC looked good that could have been all forgiven, but we can all see now that it was for nothing.

So our next friendly is against Jordan in November... whee, let's stop this winless streak!

The last person you should cite is SHM - he has one of the largest, if not the largest, leg circumference in the entire squad.

Has there been any official statement from KFA over dismal loss to 10 man Belgium and poor WC campaign overall?

Well, the Jordan Friendly is one of the matches in preparations for the AC so we're looking at more possible friendlies beforehand, which a possible tune up friendly around in August or so the same as CKR had it with Nigeria and Iran right after the 2010 FIFA WC.

I agree with his point is that our players need a much better strengthening program, as evidenced by the physicality battles we lost.

One of my hopes is that one day, we'll one day have a nice strong DMF who knows how to cover for defenders and also dominate the aerial battles. HKY, while young, I doubt if he can ever develop into that sort of player.

I saw potential in JHS in those areas but still not sure whether he'd be better off as a CB instead...

It's so valuable yet so hard to come by, a good DMF....

I don't remember Bonfrere, Advocaat, Coelho, Verbeek and other foreigners doing much better. When they suck, it's because they don't understand Korean players. When a Korean coach sucks, it's because they don't understand tactics. How about, we don't have the quality in our players. I think we could have made it to the knockout stage if PCY, LCY and KSY were all in good form. But, only Ki did OK. Also, it would have helped if Jung at least equaled his WC2010 performance, but he had a steep drop off.

having big legs doesnt make u the complete player. when i watched SHM he didnt have the balance and agility needed to get by ppl.

    What?

If anything, SHM's problem is that he still takes an extra dribble which allows defenders to recover just in time.

Son did great given the fact that he was clamped down by opponents defense as the #1 threat.

The bigger problem for Son was the lack of space to move to or the threat of a pass due to the poor form of his other attackers.

nah he is not as sharp as world class players. wat i noticed is that he is wat u call a north south player. which means he is good at moving in a straight line. but when it comes to cut across with pace he is not as fast as robben, hazard, ribery, etc. u can take extra dribbles if u can burn the defender. that sub from Belgium was pretty much making our defenders look like a fool cause of his agility.

HJM took us to the Round of 16 in South Africa. Oh wait, does that not count because we didn't utterly dominate Nigeria?
