cant believe i'm quoting a chelski man: "While they do not have huge talents, they have Beckham, Landon Donovan and Abel Xavier" -Jose Morinho, on Gals not quite a banner. just liked it. (i wish that this smiley could not only laugh, but laugh its ass off)
I just came up with this idea it should be **Beckham's face here**: Im a barbie girl in a barbie world!" **Beckham's face here**: Girl Power! Heres a pic i made took me 20 minutes lol.. I have no life..Enjoy cause I see landon is!..
I think I got a banner coming. I don't want to give away what it is, but it's gonna be about 6x6. How do I handle displaying this thing in Barra? Just hold it up and block everyone's view for a while?
Just make sure to run it by Oscar, Marshall or myself beforehand. While we don't like to control editorial content we just want to make sure it's nothing that's going to embarass the Barra. A few years back someone hung a "Fire The Coach" banner on the railing in front of the Barra without our knowledge. We never hang anything that's to the detriment of the team or the Barra. We called Ray Hudson monday morning and apologized.
I'm just pissed because I voted for him. Maybe a more "positive" banner - DCU ISO SSS-style or "Where's our stadium?".
Riz-like it. There should be something about the city letting us down. "We show up, we cheer, Now the city wants to stick us in the rear"
I like this. What ever happened to the "Barry Brava" banner idea? That would rule. We could put that up then a picture of Fenty and the quote "Bitch set us up"
My poster for the Beckham game I was going to make this a surprise, but it's gonna cost me a few hundred to make it. So I wanted to get opinions on whether I should do it. Negatives are that it is not Politcially Correct, it could conceivably get confiscated because of the content and it may block the view of some people behind me (but it's Barra and there is chaos in our sections anyway). The positives are obvious I think. Any thoughts? And why can't I get the image to show?
Re: My poster for the Beckham game who gives a shite about being politically correct...it's the barra after all.
