Let me get this straight. You have questions about Michigans ODP program so you are asking the folks on Bigsoccer those questions?

Get info direct from the source. Anything posted on Bigsoccer is less than authoritative.
This means call or email MYSA. I looked, they have a pretty good list of ODP contacts on that website.

    Good Luck!

I think you need to talk with someone in Canada. Not being a resident of the US or Michigan makes you ineligible for our Olympic Development Program. I'm sure Canada has a youth development program similiar to our ODP.

Non citizens who reside in the US MAY be allowed participation in USYSA ODP up through Regional level I believe. After that you need to have US citizenship.

Yes, canada does have a provincial, regional and national programs. 87's are training as part of the Canada Games teams in Manitoba.

If you follow some of the other threads with this kid he doesn't seem to want to travel the couple of hours to Toronto.

He's been given all the info, contacts and names, he even has people at his club in the programs. Perhaps he can see the playing field the ODP practises on from his side of the border.

But has the tryouts are in Hamburg, hell need good eyesight

Good for you european16, wish all the best.

    Just Curious

How do you get to the practises and Games?

How long does it take you? does this time allow for any border crossing delays?

How much better off are you than when you played for your old Club?

    are uyou being cercastic?
if not My parents drive me to the games or in 2 weeks i get mey full license and i could drive.
The first time i went it took me about 2 hours because a lot of traffic on the border, but with out traffic maybe 40 minutes, so its not that bad.

this club is playing at a higher level then all the teams around my area so the practices are harder and better, so you learn more.

    thanks
