I always worry about Per, with his age and his height, he could go at any minute really. Being that tall puts a ton of stress on your joints, especially the ankles. I'd like to see us keep him but bring in an understudy to take over in another year. Rudiger is likely to leave Stuttgart this summer, with a buyout of 7 million. And he's already said he wants to play for Arsenal.
Vidal linked with Arsenal http://www.football-italia.net/66856/vidal-linked-arsenal Media in Chile claim Arsenal are interested in Arturo Vidal, but he’s discussing a Juventus contract extension. English papers suggest Chilevision reported that he will sign a four-year contract with the Gunners. However, the latest report on that site merely states that Arsenal are interested in making an offer for the midfielder. Liverpool are also linked, but Vidal is in talks with agent Fernando Felicevich to extend his Juventus contract by another four years. Vidal turned 28 this week and has been at Juve since July 2011. His current deal runs to June 2017 and the Bianconeri want it renewed until 2021.

It will be interesting to see how Dybala and Sterling develop. Judging by their stats this year: Dybala vs Sterling
Heres a surprise one, we want left back Ricardo Rodriguez. Didnt think we'd be in for a left back when we've got more than a few players who can play there, two being natural.
Not expected but not shocking. Monreal isn't a spring chicken and will eventually want to go back to Spain. Wenger could be putting out feelers for a long term replacement so he can capitalize on Nacho's good showing this season.
Regarding left back...Gibbs has really, really plateaued. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a position they're looking at upgrading.
I don't understand why everyone thinks Monreal will eventually go back to Spain just because he's from there. Arteta's been in England for a decade.
1. He hasn't been in England very long 2. He has expressed a desire in going back in the past (granted that was when he wasn't getting as many minutes) 3. In general, a good number of players who have played in their home country like to go back and finish their career in their home country assuming they plan to live there after their playing career.
