One week ago the Bayern rep was saying this is a great kid, with responsible parents, today everybody is saying he's a terrible person, and made a terrible choice.
Everyone is extremely bitter about this transfer. Makes it that much nicer. They know they missed out on the biggest talent in the world.
I don't know him or how he plays, but to hear people say this guy is a great character last week, and say he's terrible now does actually make this transfer pretty sweet.
Carlo: “We have signed a player we really wanted because we think he has a lot of quality. We are certain that he is going to have a great future with us. Because of that we are very happy. We have to be level headed though. He is going to train with us and then he'll play with Castilla. Everyone is delighted with the decision he made, he is the present and the future of this team”.
I even read that Hermann Gerland (lol) said that he should have chosen the club with the best manager. I guess he listened..
Daily Mail started the rumour that Odegaard will receive £80,000 a week, which is more than at least 10 players of our first team. Now, I highly doubt this shit to be true, but it's spreading fast...
Norwegian press has been talking about €2-2.5 mill in his first year and a transfer fee of €4 mill immediately and a possibility for an additional €4 mill depending on performance.
Maybe they're referring the english press as well? I just know that he can't possibly have a bigger wage than the rest of the first team
Last year it was the espanilizacion del Madrid. This year is the youthnizacion del Madrid lol. There is even talk of buying 18 year old keeper from River Play
I guess you didn't do the math. The salary the Norwegian press is talking about is only half of what the English press reported.
When is the next cycle in which we will sign Gravesens, Paublo Garcias, Diogos and Fauberts of football?
Or what? You'll swoon over him like Kaka when he didn't return our investment and went back to Milan? I've seen this situation plenty of times. Canales, Drenthe etc. Some starlets pan out, others don't. Demanding that he make a return on the investment is silly. He's not going to try to fail. I'm not super-excited over this transfer, but it's worth a punt from the club's perspective.
BS, Laudrup was the most underrated player of his generation, he had it all and he would've been one of the best today. Maybe you mean Brian , not Michael. There are not many players like him in football today_ vision ( most important aspect of the game for me personally), dribbling, short and long passing ability, workrate, leadership etc. Judging from videos , kid is very similar.
Extremely overhyped talent. You realize he played in one of the worst leagues in the world right? The Norwegian league isn't even average, it is terrible.
Which is why he was invited by every club under the sun to join them. Makes sense, they must all be idiots.
