Not really, but on the other hand I have to admit that I missed some of the after-match scenes; I didn't watch everything intently. What I've seen was an OL player hugging Caro Graham Hansen after the game and having a quite long chat with her, with Hansen passing at least an half minute saying something in the other player's ear, most probably to be heard above the roar of the crowd, but I seem to remember the OL player was Gunnarsdottir, not Hegerberg (If I remember well, Hansen and Gunnarsdottir were team-mates at Wolsfburg, thus the chat as longtime friends).
It was. It's probably nothing, tbh. I know teammates don't have to be besties, but it still gives me pause going into the Euros.
I also remember having seen Engen, after the match, walking the pitch all alone, with a blank expression on her face, the like of: "Ok, I came to this club because I wanted to win the Champions' League at all costs: and now?".
I can't find anything on the Norwegian players regarding a post-match chat or even a picture of them together. The NRK coverage has nothing. Norwegian journalists were not able to get interviews from Caro or Engen who disappeared into the night. Actually, in this physical game, as it turned out, I think Barcelona needed Engen from kick-off in that midfield, but I don't blame the coach to go with a starting line-up which had brought him so much success this season.

On Saturday though, they delivered their best performance this season by some distance in the televised match. Honestly, I don't know how much iciness there is, that's before matches and they have their respective gamefaces on. A lot of what we've seen in the media is probably exasperation at getting asked the same questions over and over again. They hugged after the 2018 match, at least: Brann did rest some players, but I think they were more worried about the hectic schedule killing said players than about what they'd do to Avaldsnes. It turned into a fairly tense match if you supported either team; Brann had the upper hand with Avaldsnes defending well, but idk how much rewatch value it has if you know the result.

This Sunday will see Brann face Vålerengen at the club's main stadium, and it already looks like it'll be a new record crowd in Toppserien (the previous record is held by Vålerengen, who had around 3500 when their women played the first match in the club's first-ever stadium a couple of years ago) with more than 5000 tickets sold. The match will air at NRK (stream at tv.nrk.no, may or may not need VPNing for people outside of Norway) for those of us unable to make it to Bergen. Welcome back to the thread, Andy. Next target for Brann in the coming days should be 8800 which is the best attended NM Cup final. Getting 10 000 would be surreal for a Toppserien match. I also see there is a campaign going on now to break Norway's all-time attendance record for the Euro send-off match against New Zealand at Ullevaal on June 25.

New Euro 2022 shirt launched. The cool ice blue shirt with mountain pattern is history. This is the new Norway Away, sparking inspiration from Viking ships.
Ordered a Hegerberg away shirt last night not long after the announcement. I like it enough. It definitely has more flavor than the homeshirt. I'm still undecided about ordering that one, but they rarely keep enough decent (XL) sizes in stock. I'll probably also order a Bergsvand shirt this summer, be it Norway or Brann. I feel bad for the men who'd like to support the women but can't find shirts for their build and size. I know the men's is a suitable replacement, but the missing star sucks.
