I'm not being a jerk Matthew. I hope you don't treat the students like this.

Go to this site where it says search results for thenisl.com and you will see

One of my (many) frustrations with the old MISL is they never kept their web site up to to date. Found out more info from the Baltimore Examiner about games than through the league's official web site.

    Thats a good point Unitednut.

MISL website was never great, I know they hired some kid from UConn to get it going and then he went back to school and they only had limited access. The kid had the 'keys to the store' as it were and they could never fully access the thing. There is a great story how MISL built a virtual hall of fame and it was all set to go online but nobody could figure out the password after this kid built it.

For the first 3 years of the NPSL site the email went to Steve Ryans family aol account.

I never understood why NPSL never worked out a deal with that guy Kevin something or the other. He had a solid Unofficial NPSL website going. He had the infrastructure. He ended up not updating the site anymore, so maybe it would not have worked out. The league should have tried though.

Shelts, if my students were like you, I would call them jerks as well. Fortunately, the youth of america has a few more brains than you do.

    Your original post said www.nisl.com.

    Fine, Sham owns it, yeeha...

There will be a new NISL updated site (better or equal to the XSL site) next week. Again, stop trying to start trouble where there is none.

You are a bad teacher Matt if you call your students jerks for a typo. I guess its proof positive that the US education system caters to the union and not the client (students).

my first post (which has mysteriously vanished) had all the links and said the "NISL.com" . You never clicked on a single link just re-acted with your venom.

sheltsie I think you were reaching big-time on this one.

First the Sharks for all intents and purposes are still a part of the NISL.

If they weren't Sham would have no legal basis to hold on to the domain.

Second, it's no big whoop just to register nislsoccer.com or some weird domain that no one could guess in a million years like nationalisl.net a la the XSL.

Heck the way they're going they could just change their name to the AISL and use their site.

But either way there's no story here.

Not quite a juicy as when the Wichita owner bought the rights for wisl.com just so the WISL couldn't have it... or maybe the "Wichita Indoor Soccer League" really needed a site with little more than a splash page...
