Maybe its because i been following Madrid too long. But I consider the Rodrygo theatre quite benign.

If this is the biggest problem with the squad, I will take it.

If he wants to change the narrative, he has to do it on the field. There is always going to be a new shiny toy each year, and he just isn't at the undisputed starter level right now.

People want to whine to whine so if it's not that it will be something else.

The club is literally in a win-win situation with Rodrygo because he can't leave cheap due to his long contract and the player is obviously motivated with a chip on his shoulder so maybe that can be what spurs him to get to the next level.

Instead of being happy... cry whine cry

But then this board would see less traffic and be less exciting ;)

You think its more of a contract issue than playing time/status issue? Not sure about that.

He gets tons of playing time, his issue is mostly superficial stuff like seeing montages online without him on, not being nominated for awards etc. These players practically live online and take in all the nonsense on social media. The issue isn't fans, paying 150 Euro to see him from a seat so far away from the field it's on a different postal code isn't "hating" or unthankful.

We've seen it with other players, in Madrid they are a player on the team, in the national team they are "the Real Madrid star" and it kind of throws them off.

As i've said before Rodrygo has an eternal contract that could see him spend his entire prime in the club. Anything else is irrelevant.

He had a really good game against Stuttgart. He faded after the goal but this was his best game in a while.

Let's see if he can string more of these performances together.

The problem is when he drifts to the left flank and it's like we are playing with 3 left wingers.

The real problem for me is when he goes half of the games playing like he's afraid of his own shadow, gets in his head and transforms into Casper the friendly ghost Jovic Mk II.

Yep. Pretty happy for him. I don't know how Carlo will get him to his best, but once Rodrygo plays at his best he is one of the best players in his position. I really hope we get to see more of this going forward.

    No thread bump? No surprised.

Anyways, another fantastic performance from Rodrygo playing on the right side in this new trident.

May his successes and ours jointly continue

He had a fantastic solo goal but was very anonymous otherwise.

He won't see the ball much when Mbappe, Vini and Bellingham are all on the field so a solo threatening run or shot is what he needs to produce so good on him.

Well can't have it all ways, IMO right now he's playing just as good as all three of them, and scoring goals, if the wish/idea is to spread the play and give the opposition problems on both sides of the pitch (especially from the fans) then the team is not doing themselves any favours if he does not "see" the ball, and if he doesn't see the ball then of course he's going to look anonymous, ( which i've got to say in this game wasn't my assessment but his bar is set ridiculously high by fans because they'd prefer to see others play)

If he goes looking for the ball to get involved in the play then the fans are wondering why he is taking up space where Jude and Kylian and Vin want to play so, really he can't win, at least not with some fans, and to top it all off , if he can't see the ball on the right because of those three, i don't get the call for Arda to replace him, or any other player for that matter, why would it be any different for any of them, it's not like Rodry has started the season playing poorly, luckily Carlo sees things a bit different and he is still doing well

This is false. He worked hard all match, kept width on the right side and was the most efficient of our trident.
