He's smart not to say outright he prefers the LW.

He knows he doesn't stand a chance on getting the spot right now.

Just like his football, his words are too vague, too measured until contradictory.

    For real man.

Less talking and more football please. I agree he should have been in the top 30 but no need to b*tch about it himself. Just shut everyone up on the pitch.
Rodrygo was an undisputed started last year and started 4 out of 5 games so far this season. That's plenty of time to make yourself irreplaceable.

Dude's got the talent but needs greater mentality to be an alpha at Real Madrid. Gotta keep working!

Rodrygo needs to make his performances on the pitch speak for itself.

I dunno what his whining online does for him. He is getting his chances.

Not the team's fault he's mister hot and cold.

Apparently he only speaking about his role in the Brazil team not Real Madrid.

    A bit of context.

Right now or … ever. Now that’s out of touch with reality if that’s what he thinks he’s going to get here.

At least Rodrygo scored a goal on international break, this despite still being out of position.

We've got people ready to defend Mbappe to the death despite his poor form and start to the season and the fact he hasn't won jack sh1t in Madrid shirt. But Rodrygo people are ready to take a massive dump on even though he plays out of position but still finds a way to make himself an asset to his teams without all the excuses and requirements like changes in formation, etc.

...or we could actually balance our team by making Jude play as an actual midfielder and Rodrygo could have success play in a trident with Mbappe and Vinicius

It’s not that. I just feel like he will always feel like a second or third fiddle. If he believes he is a main star kind of guy then he will eventually pursue that opportunity

I just don’t see him sticking around a long time here if he feels left out which indication is that he does

The press are creating Mbappe, Bellingham and VJ as the Big 3 on the team. As you can see, Rodrygo's photo has been left off on many occasions. I think Rodrygo wanted the team to be a "quartet." rather than a "trio". He is seeking attention or recognition, reminding people of him being a core player too. If it is about PT, he has plenty of that right now.

The Beatles was mainly about Lennon and McCartney, but Harrison was a talented song-writer of his own right. Rodrygo needed to learn to become our Ringo. But it is hard not to have an ego when you are a starting attacker on Real Madrid and Brazil. I actually not so worried of him being pissed. In a team full of very talented players, someone would be unhappy. It is better him than any member of the "Big Three". But I am worried that this would grow into a conflict between the other players.

Yeah, pretty obvious it's about recognition. End of the day he has an eternal contract so for him to leave he'll have to find somebody that believes in him as much as he does cause he'll be pretty expensive.

I prefer him to go to United to balance it out a bit in EPL. He is too clutch to go to a straight rival.

Well he isn’t going anywhere atm. But if he keeps up these cryptic low key seeking validation BS without week in and week out performances to back them up, I would be pretty annoyed.

I don't think a guy who has been key for us in not one but two Champions League victories has anything to prove.

I think he does and he seems uneasy about it..

Rodrygo is still a starter but for some reason believes he's not being appreciated..

Even Modric has to prove that he still has a place in the squad. This is Madrid. If the board thinks that he is more trouble (outside of the field and on the media) than he is delivering on the pitch, believe me, he will be shipped away.

Rodrygo isn't a 39 year old on the verge of retirement.

Indeed, that is why I chose the most extreme case of the most successful player in the squad and in the history of the club who really has nothing to prove anymore in principle but who still has to prove himself every day to stay at the club.

Oh yes he does. Unless he wants Guler or another midfielder to take his spot.
