He's in the situation Higuain was and his communication has a lot of similarities. A player that feels good enough to be a star being third to fourth fiddle. ........
Well, fact of the matter is Rodrygo is still the most disposable of the front three. At least until he shows consistency over a full season. His feeling are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
I'm still waiting to hear what this consistency entails, no one has said what that is yet, i'm pretty sure he scored about 17 goals last season, helping us to two trophies and being decisive in games as well, in a season where i'd say 60% of the fans believed the team would win nothing before a ball was kicked because we did not have Kylian, i'll wait to read how all his goals were irrelevant because of Jude or against minnows Luckily for Rodry, at this time Carlo still seems to believe in him, giving him more responsibilities in the team as well, so....... there's that, kind of making the fans feelings about him, even mine......irrelevent
He's perfect for his role, but he clearly doesn't see himself being in it. People get these two things twisted. He has a contract to 2028 which gives the club a brutal amount of leverage. That's where his situation is tricky.

I agree. But then again Flo isn't one to keep unhappy players against their will if they want out. So I don't really see the club having that much of a leverage in this.
Pretty simple. Keep his form near what his purple patch was last year for twice as long. Then avoid being invisible for more than half of what he did last year.
I usually don’t think there is anything to these stuff but we do know Rodrygo doesn’t like how they keep leaving him out of the “big 3”
Well to be fair England looked just fine without Bellingham and Mbappe's ketchup started to flow once Jude was out injured... intersting times ahead. I don't envy Carlo at this point in time and feel like this whole headache could have easily been avoided. And to be sure Rodrygo definitely deserves to be on that 30 man list, he would be Arsenal best player on day one and they have 4 nominations.
Rodrygo's position in the squad would've been shaky with Guler and Endrick alone. Even without Mbappe who's causing you all those headaches. The players THEMSELVES started recruiting Mbappe and Bellingham with all the emoji trading and social media nonsense, we didn't forget. Now that they are together they have to get it together.
It's nuts looking back at some of these threads. We're all quite literally growing up with the players, the team and each other. 6 years ago this guy signed. During that time, some of us would have gone into our 30s, 40s, got married, children etc. Time flies....
By catching fire, I just mean having the consistency to become undisputed. Rodrygo is insanely talented and but has struggled with consistency the past 3 years. Even last year with Benz gone, had some long unproductive droughts in terms of goals and assists. I hope he can reach that "untouchable" status at Madrid. Right now....if someone needs to be benched it will be him....it someone needs to be sold, it will be him.... This means he still hasn't solidified his place (despite his great contributions to our recent trophy runs). I think he's talented enough to do it..... that's what I mean.
Is it a coincidence that the more women get involved in football the more gossiping and bitching becomes talked about more than the actual football? Watch the games. In between the games, get a hobby.
I don't see how the correlation between women and gossip is though. Cause both and men and women do partake in that almost equally imo. The former do however love drama.
Rodrygo will have to come to the conclusion that either: A: Fight for a place at RM, prove he’s better than one of the big 3 or get used to being just outside of that group. B: Go to City (No Pep probably at some point, fight for minutes too), Arsenal ( Massive expectations and pressure for being the man) United (dumpster fire) Chelsea (bigger dumpster fire) - I don’t see any Italian team being willing to pay the transfer fee of 100m for him. I’m guessing he’s going to go the plan B route.
Apparently Rodrygo said that he feels like he is often just filling spaces, having to play wherever the coach sees fit. And then concluded that he is a team player. He doesn't want to go full assault here, but he is definitely unsettled.
I saw his quotes. Its probably because I'm not an athlete and my personality is pretty laidback in real life and again I'm NOT an athlete lol but I find the complaining about not being chosen or recognized cringe-worthy. Yea it sucks and he probably deserved to be on that list over some of those names but he wasn't so move on. Why publicly complain? Full quotes: 🗣️ Rodrygo: “Ballon d’Or list? I was upset, I think I deserved it. I don't want to belittle the players who are there, but I think I had a place in the 30s. It was a surprise... But there's not much I can do, I'm not the one who decides these things.” pic.twitter.com/gjoYounC5T— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) September 9, 2024 1833027063525077463 is not a valid tweet id
He’s an attacker complaining about being played by the Real Madrid coach in attack, as a starter, despite frequently having large chunks of seasons where he fades away. Bizarre. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Vini stepping up on the left hand side then Rodrygo’s many ineffective weeks/month stretches in performance would have been more in the spotlight. If these comments are real and recent, it’s not a good look at all, couple these with the comments about City before the CL final, which I really think he has gotten away lightly with … ♂️ smh.
"I can't say anything about the players on the list, but I belong on it" is such a wishy washy in and out mentality.
