Stupidity. There was no need to go celebrate a Castilla goal in face of the opposition GK when he was already carrying one yellow.
That's a still shot. Rodrygo is a kid who is reactionary, so he definitely ain't doing any of that unless he is heavily provoked.
Yep. Rodrygo wasnt even celebrating the goal. Yet that keeper runs towards Rodrygo and starts provoking and somehow its all Rodrygo's fault for reacting.
You have a Clasico in sight with Hazard out and you're already carrying a yellow card. Doesn't need 200 IQ to decide it's best to walk away rather than responding to his provocation in the dying minutes of the match.
You do realize he is a 19 year old kid right ? He was getting hacked the entire game. Its a miracle he finished the game without an injury. And then this GK confronts him. Any player would lose their cool no matter how high or low their IQ is...
He is a teenager who hasn't even been in the country a year and you're expecting him to show restraint even professional legends like Ruud Van Nistelrooy couldn't. Smh Oh and it's obvious you just read a tweet and didn't see the actual incident because had you, you would be questioning why the GK wasn't carded and if the ref has some kind of nationalistic sentiments which made him see the foreigner as the problem when Rodrygo didn't even celebrate his win sealing goal.
I've posted the video of entire event on Castilla thread. Obviously watched the whole thing, but wouldn't be you jumping to conclusions without having any data at hand just to slander others [emoji19]
You are literally projecting yourself. I assumed you hadn't seen it to give you the benefit of a doubt because someone who has seen the video yet still comes to your conclusion needs to get their head checked.
As noted before he wasn’t even celebrating the goal before that keeper ran up in his face, so clearly the keeper said something to him to provoke him into that reaction, these aren’t robots playing football but humans, a youngster too, so maybe the ref could take that into consideration, it would be interesting to know if the keeper was carded as well
What relevance is their GK being carded 31 minutes before the incident have to do with the context of this discussion... ...besides the fact this referee decided to give one player a second yellow for reaction, yet no second yellow for the GK for the initial provocation?
Does he? Because he was pushed to the B team when we had matches coming up vs relatively "easy" opponents so I doubt the match vs Barca is where Zizou would have said "there you go, you didn't get a minute vs a relegation candidate, now play in the most important league game so far in the season" Rodrygo would probably be a non call even without the red.
No relevance really but the GK is going to play some inconsequential game in lower league next, while Rodrygo could have featured in a season defining Clasico if he had kept his head.
I seriously doubt that. Not good enough for Levante with Bale and Jovic out but up for Barca? Don't think so.
We had both Bale and Jovic out vs Levante and he was pushed to feature in a third division match. There is no way anybody could explain to me how a coach that pushed a player to the third division would manage to give him minutes vs Barca without looking bipolar.
Agree, even though he got the second yellow, little Rodrygo with his arms up celebrating in that guys face looked pretty funny to me at the time
Madrid's appeal has been rejected by LaLiga...https://t.co/KDEskt39vf— AS USA (@English_AS) February 26, 2020
Formality. We didn't call Rodrygo up for CL in what world was he making the final 18-roster for Clasico?
