Love handing Barca L's, even if it's the offseason. That Neymar deal has come back to bite them every. single. summer.

I havent seen any thing of him except his hattrick few weeks ago. But seeing Barca eat shit after that Neymar fiasco is so satisfying.
    Hope he develops perfectly here.

    IN.

I remember bringing him up in March as being one of Santos three kings (Pele, Neymar, Rodrygo).

Didn't believe we would actually sign him.. thought we'd finally leave him to barca. Glad we moved in and got this done. As I've said before he's very similar to Neymar.

Only way he didn't succeed in my opinion is if we fail him.

    I don't believe we will.

Another thing I will say is these kids are good products. Neymar is as well even though people hate him.

They come from strong foundations. Rodrygo has a strong family ties. Vinicius may not have those ties with his biological family, but he has them with his guardian.

Both kids seem humble, feet on the ground and motivated. It is up to us to instill Madridismo on them and have them project our values in future.

I know nothing about him, but seems like a promising youngster. We need some Brazilian flare at the club besides the beloved Marcelo. Hope the best for the guy.

The Neymar transfer to Barcelona is the gift that keeps on giving. I love that we are the ones signing potential stars from South America now.

That’s 2 sure transfers Barcelona has messed up this summer. Wonderful.

From what I have seen, he seems incredibly smooth in his technique. Hes more Ronaldo Fenomeno or Ronaldinho than Neymar. He needs to grow his body a lot but there is time. Good deal!

What a signing. Both the Vinicius and Rodrygo deals are masterstrokes by the club.

Yes, also Marcelo and Casemiro are great influences for the young players from Brazil coming in, they didn't join the club as stars, they started as young players reaching captain/unquestioned starter status. Vastly different from situations of the past.

He has good family around him; strong core. Again, we should give them a stable environment and protect them from the media plus added pressure. They both know what pressure feels like but our club is just another level.

I'm probably asking for the impossible. The media wanted Zidane gone and even posted he were asking for it or thinking about the scenario

This is great - how long until they just pony up the Neymar money to get off the shitlist? That's two youngsters in a row where Santos have blackballed them, and they even had a contractual obligation with Gabriel.

I'm very happy we managed to one-up Barcelona for him. Curious to see how he develops in the next few years.

"Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo won't play for Real Madrid"
Clarence Seedorf, the former Real Madrid star, doesn't believe Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr have a future at Real Madrid

    https://www.sport-english.com/en/ne...and-rodrygo-wont-play-for-real-madrid-6912973

Hopefully these two prove him wrong. Not like he has much of an argument though. Ze Roberto, Etoo? If he takes a look at more recent, and relevant examples (Casemiro, Marcelo) his argument falls apart.

What Seedorf is saying is brutal general honesty, however it is up to the kids to work hard and the club to help them grow.

If you read the article he even expands talking about Valverde being good yet probably never playing for the club. Kind of disheartening...
