I predict that it will be el Pity. He is doing well enough to get noticed at this Copa America.

    Any others?

The only player to receive an offer after playing in Copa America was Rafael Marquez.. This Mexie squad is a bit old so the only players that can get noticed are Bautista < Chivas wont let him go cheap so we can count him out, then theres Lozano < Isnt he part of Culiacan now ? Who else do we have !? I suppose Altamirano who wouldnt mind taking a pay cut.. Anyways me thinks we might have some offers for the Olympic squad members, lets see what happens.. .

Davino,Since he mode those errors against Uruguay hes been great.

Bofo, Lavolpe needs to give him more time on the pitch, plus put the ball in the net instead of over it.

You also have to remember that River was looking at him........... now who is going to offer more? River or a European club.

Quite frankly, also....... River, while a more successful and known club than Santos, is a step down league wise compared top to bottom to the Mexican league. I don't see a move there helping him that much.

Diego was linked to a trial with Valencia or Celta but I think that in itself is a joke. Trial my butt.

Osasuna has been looking at Mario Perez, but of course it's because of Aguirre.

Pity and River. But like Leva alluded to, he should seriously consider a European offer than a downgrade to River. Not to discredit them as they are beasts among men but after the top 2-4, the level diminishes significantly when compared to the competitiveness of the FMF/MFL/MFER/NKOTB. As a consolation prize, he would get more Libertadores action, which I guess could help his ultimate move to the old continent.

When all is said and done, I believe there will be at least 3 players going abroad this fall.

Probably 2 from Olympic squad, 1 from Copa America.

Who exactly? Not so certain but I'll go out on a limb and say:

Hector Altamirano, Diego Martinez and Mario Perez.

    Safe bets. :)

I don't think Chivas players are going anywhere. They cost too much money.............too much for Euro's to pay.

If Aguirre is seriously looking into somebody 'resonably' loanable for Osasuna than that player has the best shot. The reason is out of everyone in Europe Aguirre knows most what he's getting and won't be gun shy about pressing for the player as opposed to a director of a club freaking out because they think the player is overpriced because they don't know the true quality of the league. But for everyone else it always comes down to the European club running away from the table when they realize Mexico isn't running a charity with it's players.

While it is arguable that the level of play in Mexico is better then in Argentina one thing that can’t be argued is Rivers ability to sell players to European clubs. Look at Luis Perea for example he spent one year year at Boca and got sold for 6 million to Atlético Madrid. Did he really improve that much in one year?

Perea was a good player before he came to Boca but since nobody pays attention to the colombian league nobody from Europe knew about him. He went to Boca and then Europe knew who he was.

I forgot about El Fenomeno! He'll probably be snagged if he plays semi-decent seeing as how prior to his injury he was already very close to signing for the French league.

As for Lucho Perez, he's one of, if not the, best we've got coming up with plenty of international experience. But having said that, it'll take a very strong showing in Athens in order for him to be taken by anybody. His physical attributes aren't the most impressive for Euros. Not that it matters, but you know how they are.

Oswaldo should be in Europe. Oh well.

Chivas was willing to let Medina go on loan as a matter of fact they will loan out any of their youth players.. In a recent youth tourney in Holland, Marco Parra impressed teh Ajax scouts so i wouldnt be surprised if they loaned him out.. Parra is practically a clone of Medina..

    2 quick questions, amigazo.

1 - If this is the case, then are we set for the future with not 1 but 2 Fenomenos? I'm wet just thinking about it.

2 - Just what exactly is the Inner City Firm? Is this, like, Ambulantes FC's main rival? Is there something going on that I don't know about? And who is Lond42543534634? Is he one of us? Is he one of them? Is he in the same clique as Sid and Efern? Do Sid and Efern even get along? Seems like Sid is his dad and shoots him down whenever Johnny gets out of line.

I lied. It was more like 15 questions.

    Carry on.

Segun El Rey Hugol en 2002 a partir del mundial, ya todos sabemos que Gerardo es el mejor contencion del mundo.

Not sure why he would make such a bold statement, but I guess it's about whatever it takes to enstill confidence in ourselves and progress abroad.

Actually, he was quite revered in Sevilla, even winning himself a section of fans who would take banners and chant his name when he wasn't being played after the injury. With the opportune arrival of Baptista, that quickly died down. I still think he could work well with Julio in the midfield. JB in front as a-mid, Torrado as d-mid. But what do I know.
