When I heard Kerry's concession speech I realized he was a much bigger man than me. A real patriot.

Not me. Now that 51% of the vote has gone to the worst, the dumbest, the most bumbling idiot ever to occupy the White House I say f 'em. Good luck.

The deficit ought to be interesting in 4 years. The environment? Scorched earth, and I am in the oil business. We are free to go. Salt water in the aquifers, drilling fluids in your drinking water and wells all over the Roan Plateau. Hey we bought our politicians.

The preemtive wars? They can do it with the children of the Christian right and the Republicans. Send your kids off to war 'to instill democracy in the middle east', it is going to be volunteer right? Democarats and others with some sense should not go. You can call it a crusade.

Abortions? Like Saudi Arabia and Turkey they can be illegal. We need cops in the hospitals and clinics making sure fetuses are carried to term. Some Republican cheerleader gets raped by a black street person who is mentally ill? Well we welcome the bi-racial kid to the family right? Maybe set him up with a non taxable transfer of wealth.

Taxes? Tax cuts all around. That "no child left behind' was just nice talk for the first term. We are 'no taxation'. Those dumb asses off to fight the crusades don't really need body armor. They are 'trying' to get to heaven. The USDA, border enforcement, the SEC, that is all just happy talk. You can't pay for that crap and have no taxes so....

You won't be able to blame the next 4 years on a blow job. I hope ya all choke on it. And given your chosen leader I can't imagine any other outcome.

watch yourself there Canada boy! I agree that Bush is an idiot and I do agree that many, many Americans are idiots for voting for Bush, but do not think all Americans believe in everything that Bush does.

It's probably like worshipping a bankrupt, craven ideology so much that you put some assclown as your avatar.

True. I've been saying for several years that the West Coast offense won't do anything for the Falcons.

Despite all my instincts, I actually want to see if this Republican-controlled government can deliver.

If more lower and middle-class Americans are able to find better-paying jobs and health-care coverage, that will be great.

If pro-business policies are enacted that will not drag the environment into the crapper, that will be great.

If Bush can carry out the War or Terror AND keep his tax cuts AND not balloon the deficit further (and maybe even reduce the darn thing) that will be great.

If there truly will be no military draft, as the president has said repeatedly, then that's great.

I actually want to give the president a chance to do the above. His party controls the Congress and soon will control the Supreme Court. He's got a blank check. A "mandate" even.

I still will vote for ZERO Republicans in 2006 and 2008.

I don't WANT this country to be even worse off just so Democrats will be elected in future elections. But let's be honest. If it is... then Democrats will have no excuse for not winning the White House in 2008.

Other than the draft... I seriously doubt it. But I'm all for letting them try. If they do, then the country is better off. If not, they provide Dems with more ammo.

I'm praying that we can at least be able to correct the problems that Bush will leave behind.

You say conservatives are stupid, yet we're not the ones who tried to protest a war by voting for a Senator who voted for the war.

There are no conservatives or liberals. There are only Bushies and non-Bushies. Bush is not a conservative. That is how stupid the Bushies are. QED.

The war didn't matter, the struggling economy didn't even matter. You know what did? Let's go to Mrs. Emma Jean Redstadter from Montgomery, Alabama to find out:

"I see Mr. Bush as a good, Christian man." There you have it, folks. Theocracy 101 American-style. If this is the new paradigm, expect your priests & ministers to drive economic growth, fund NCLB and somehow find a way to save Social Security. The govt. is too busy right now in the religion business to worry about such trifling things.
