I have a few questions about the stadium. How do the club intend to avoid a "Chelsea" when financing the new ground? I've heard a figure of £350m for Ashburton Grove. How would they be able to finance such an expensive project while continuing to invest in players?
You can get the new stadium as "wallpaper" for your computer. I had it as mine last season, only to be replaced by the team photograph showing all the trophies that we won last season. Hoping it will still be there next season!

Those are excellent questions. Can't speak for the club, but I'm sure that's on their minds as well. I mean, there's a reason the Wembley/Sp*rs groundsharing rumors won't go away. My gut says that the increased cost of the new ground has taken the board by surprise, and some of them are getting nervous about it. As far as investing in players, Arsenal, under Wenger's, always been fiscally responsible. I doubt you'll see us shell out $15-$20 million on new talent. You'll more likely see sales this offseason that can bring in that much, or close to it, and certainly help reduce the wage bill. And I think, if only for financial reasons, you'll see the club have to start bringing the youth players into the first-team mix more and more.
The club will make a good bit of money from the conversion of the current stadium into flats. Around that area a one-bedroom flat will go for £140,000+. How many will be built into the space that the East and west stands currently occupy I don't know. Not sure what they're doing with the Clock end and North Bank stands, but I'm sure there's a money making scheme for theose areas as well.
