That “Okay” reminded me of a scene from Men in Black. The alien lands in a famer’s yard, and comes out, and asks for the farmer’s gun. The farmer says, over my dead body. The alien says, your terms are acceptable, and kills him.

God forgive me, but a couple nights ago I was going through a Bluesky bleat about it, and each reply was more hilarious than the last one. A true cornucopia of awesome jokes.

Both expressing their first amendment rights.
Had those expressions been reversed, like the sign carrier said “Ice Out” then he stood the Chance of being shot, with the shooter exonerated by standing his ground

Just the fact that this is even remotely plausible should be wild.

    But it's normal in 2026.

Who remembers this one? They picked some rando unknown Bragg to name it after because they wanted to pretend they weren't butthurt about removing the name of a pathetic loser treasonous Confederate.

Ft Brag California is actually a nice coastal town. On hwy 1. With excellent beaches.
We’ve camped and motel-ed it a few times.

    “wiki:
Why is Fort Bragg, California named Fort Bragg?

The installation was originally named for Confederate general Braxton Bragg who is generally considered among the worst generals of the Civil War. In 2023, the U.S. Department of Defense renamed the installation "Fort Liberty" due to controversy surrounding memorials to Confederate generals.”

Hmm I hadn’t heard of the name change and liberty???
Can’t even buy an American car or open a park for kids these days unless it’s called Liberty or Patriot.
Probably in reminder of the days we had some

Ditto Ft Bragg, CA. The Skunk Train is a don't-miss.

I thought the Bragg-Liberty-Bragg one was in NC though [?].

Yeah that’s the NC Fort Bragg. The California Fort Bragg story is a little different. It WAS named for Mexican War general Braxton Bragg, but in 1857, before the Civil War and before Bragg became a traitor. The city of Fort Bragg has discussed changing the name as recently as 2020, but has always decided it’s too much of a hassle.

Speaking as someone who grew up within walking distance of Ft. Bragg, and who learned the term "m***** f******s" from a GI in the mock VC village that was through the swamp, over the hill, and across the tank trail behind my backyard, I'm pretty sure they went woke, as in they chose an African American who won a Silver Star.

That's a WAY better choice than Gen. Let's Appease the Descendants of Slave Owners Bragg, but it still displays the abject cowardice of the Bootlicker Administration in its full plumage.
