For us, MLS sickos tonight on Jeopardy! there was an MLS category. Bummed there wasn't a San Jose Goonies reference 😁 @TaylorTwellman pic.twitter.com/ES38y5jkVa— Edwin Games (@EdwinGames4) January 22, 2026
wow, and the contestants got all the questions correct! Which is the more impressive feat - MLS being a category or the contestants?
::There was no Original RapidMan™ .... There was no Original RapidMan™ ... ad nauseum :: ...it was all a shared hallucination ...I mean, it could not have been real ..... could it have ....
Putting it here because I think it's appropriate. Trinity Rodman signed a 3 year deal to stay in DC. Kang says she is the highest paid women's soccer player in the world. Some franchises get it done and others .........
JP Finlay and Brian Mitchell spent a good chunk of their opening segment this morning praising the Rodman deal, the Spirit organization, Michelle Kang, and even taking a couple shots at DC United's ownership. They did some research before that segment, as they talked about soccer more than the Nationals' trade of MacKenzie Gore.
I’m assuming this is a radio show. If I recall correctly, he was on a show years ago with Doc Walker. People still listen to AM radio?
I saw the Rodman story when I turned on Channel 7 first thing this morning. They did not take any shots at United (they may or may not know DCU exists, despite showing their games a few years back as the primary broadcast partner)
I was impressed with Finlay and Mitchell spent so much time talking about Rodman and the Spirit in general, and was doubly so when the potshots at United ownership (not the team, just ownership, mind you) happened.
I thought Bono was an OK keeper. Hopefully he will have had some improvement working with his defensive line. And hopefully we will have an improved defensive line?
Goff says DC are about to acquire Swiss right back Silvan Hefti from Bundesliga club Hamburger SV. He's 28.
