Rumors are flying around that this man (Clive Owen for those that didn't know) will be the new James Bond. Not a bad pick if you ask me, I liked his stuff in the BMW films.
Not a bad pick at all. He should bring a bit of a darker side to the Bond character. I really liked him in 'The Croupier.'
Ioan Gryffydd or however you spell it (he's Welsh) is another person I wouldn't mind as James Bond. He is in the ITV programme Hornblower, which is about a captain of a ship during the Napoleonic Wars if you're wondering. Richard E. Grant would be alright, but it isn't really his kind of role.
Timothy Dalton brought a darker side to Bond, but it didn't score at the box office. I'm not sure if the producers will go that route again.
For the right $$ he'll do it. You repeatedly here, "I won't do it", but once the $$ is flung around they're more than willing.
And in Greenfingers, which wasn't as dark, but which shows he has a pretty decent range. And in keeping with this color scheme, I'm still hoping Tom Green will be the next Bond, assuming Clive Owen doesn't want to do it.
Sorry Bond's supposed to be an officer, he looks to rugged. I wouldn't mind him playing the role of Clark in a Clancy movie, or whatever...
I like that guy, and those movies are top notch. I try not to miss them when they are on A&E. Not sure if he's right for Bond though, but he'd be a better pick than Lazenby was.
