He can but he hasn't in a while. He plays only cb for the NT but he plays lcb in a 3 back at Leipzig. He used to play lb for Dinamo in occasion but it's been a long time since I've seen him at lb.

So all in for Gvardiol (who is a top CB)?

We could end up paying close to €100mil when there is no glaring need for another CB especially with Rudiger –one of the best CBs in the world– is on the bench.

But somehow €100mil is too much for Bellingham when will need to replace our legendary CMs?

And somehow we don't see the same urgency to buy a striker that can serve us immediately (Endrick likely to start playing for the first team in 2025).

    Weird stuff..

I think there’s optimism in the club that Kroos and Modric will continue also next season. Enso Fernández is also an option

I was thinking Asia countries were lazy in legislation reform to curtail financial bullying in the sports industry, but to the contrary European league and federations are too corrupt than any other similar league federations around the world and they enjoy enslaving them

Indian premier league (cricket) is doing much better in a matter of financial proprietary then EPL or Laliga or any European football league

If we go out of the Bellingham race, I'd go after Wirtz. Then we can reunite him with Xabi in a couple of years. :)

Wirtz has been out of football for almost a year.

I’d stay clear for now until he shows himself again.

My plan B would be Kudus.

I think Florentino will go up to 120M (100M fee and 20M add ons) but if oil club says 130M or 140M we won’t go there. So it’s not like we are offering peanuts. A lot will depend on Jude himself. What his priorities are. How he sees his career progression. He’s so young.

Barella, what a lovely player. I’ve been a fan since the euros. I wonder what they price him at and what inflated price will be asked for Kudus.

I don’t think the management is considering a replacement for Benz now or for the next season. I hardly see situation that Benz won’t be a starter. I believe in 2024 things can change

Nope, this is the first time I go public with this statement.

Benz is cooked. It's a disgrace if we end up depending on him for another season as a starter.
