Management has failed and Ancelloti is failing to introduce options from the youth team to mitigate the problem, plenty of blame to spread around. If you believe our team is supposed to win the ucl every year and cannot understand that transitional seasons exist or that other teams are good too I don't know what to tell you. If all you care about in football is transfers and believe this is the way to run a club stick to playing FIFA career mode. Or become a Chelsea fan they seem to be doing that right now.

If the team can win the UCL, but is not maximizing its potential to do so despite having the means for that, yes we can complain and its completely justifiable. If we don't win in the end, we can say well we did everything right but it wasn't to be. That is not the case in this moment, so stop twisting the argument. And yes, transfers are a major part of the game, a major reason why many here have become Madrid fans in the first place. So enough with the 'if you like transfers so much play FIFA' guilt tripping bs. Nobody is supposed to feel guilty for enjoying a major aspect of the game, especially knowing Madrid's history. Nobody can refute that we used to pride ourselves for our moves on the market. It might be news to you, but its possible to care about the game/current players, and also care about transfers. More shockingly its also possible to be in between the Madrid way and the Chelsea way when it comes to doing transfers. What is the excuse for not bringing in a cheap alternative for LB that was available? What is the excuse for not integrating capable youth players? No one expects to win every season. But there is absolutely an expectation to try every season. That demand will never change at this club.

And if Rodrygo is covering for the other forward positions (e.g. Benzema is injured), one of our most promising CMs plays RW. RB has been problematic for a couple of years; Carvajal is a$$, old and injury-prone, and his cover? A 31 year-old winger. Benzema cannot afford any mental breaks or lapses in form at 35 because we have 0 backups for him. He has to bust his butt in 4 competitions on 3 continents. Our attacking depth? A bunch of donkeys that sit in the dugout shoeless. We don't rescind their contracts because oh-em-gee what would the world say about the noblest club in all the land? Gotta set an example for the generations. But bro, we can use our Castilla boys, right? No. Carlo is here to win and not to give minutes to players. His words. Our calendar? Easily one of the most difficult in recent memory yet we are almost set-up to fail. You cannot win competitions with 14-15 players. We don't often have or want a Plan B, so I think it will be Bellingham or nothing. The club can always extend Ceballos' contract too, and whilst this shouldn't be impacted by the potential arrival of Bellingham, it may help to soften the blow if he chooses to move to the PL instead.
Aside from 4/5 players, our squad is average and I wouldn’t be arsed if they left tomorrow. We need investment. We’ve invested in the stadium so now it’s time to reinvest in the squad. We’re not Tottenham ffs.
This is an insanely expensive squad, for our limits. If you want to argue that Uefa are not doing us any favors(and they aren't) we have to be top polish clean and tip top with our finances. I'm expecting some fine tuning should we get to move some boulders off the roster like Mariano and Hazard.
Just 4 players? The rest average? I can only agree with that if we consider about 85 to 90% of top tier football average.

This here is the prime example. Some people would have probrably sold carvajal a few seasons ago. If we sold carvajal, nobody else in The planet was putting in that cross to rodrygo vs city. Infact had we fielded another team that was just as talented we probrably gey destroyed. RM players who have won 3/4 CLs know whag they are doing. Ill hold off asking the club For more until there is more for them to give us. Right now we are CL and spain champions, dont even know why people are complaining. If the meta in european soccer is to be financially stable while winning top tournaments and leagues, RM is the best run club in Europe by a long stretch. Cant people just enjoy a little?
If you'd only read this forum without following the results you'd believe it's an ipswich or Luton forum.
People act like we don't all support the same team. But as you can see the club doesn't panic. And if you haven't noticed the club is massively successful. So what we are saying is closer to what the most successful club in the world is doing than what you are requesting.
This is all about preference. When Florentino prefers you he makes it possible. When he doesn't have a preference for you it is because financial restraints lol. That isn't to say there are financial restraints and we don't need to budget and stay measured but I will repeat we're talking about €5M previous academic talent at FB, not a man child class clown that goes for €100M.
Maintaining and building on said success is art that is not achieved by a concoction of idleness and inaction. What's comical is that necessity is labelled as "panic" while hoping for miracles when willfully playing with fire.
