Fossati doesn't seem like much of an option...now, is he leaving Liga b/c of economic issues (he wants to coach a team where he'll obtain a better salary?) or is it family issues (family doesn't want to live in Ecuador? or something of that nature)... If it's a money problem, im sure he'll still be a candidate for our NT, but if it's a family issue then I doubt he's even an option anymore.

I haven't heard ANYTHING reguarding Bauza these past days. Chiriboga said he was going to go down to Argentina and talk with him (don't know when..) I still say Bauza should remain as the first option no matter what. Chiriboga's an idiot for delaying like this!!

Giovanni Espinoza is considering stepping aside and leaving the NT. All I gotta say is I appreciate everything he did for the NT. Everyone shares more good memories about him and Ivan Hurtado than bad ones. I respect him 10 times more for doing this...something Hurtado should have done a while ago. Thanks Sombra Espinoza.

Jairo Campos, Jefferson Hurtado, & Diego Calderon you guys are up now!!

I wonder why Aguinaga never got into coaching.

there was recently an article about this point. The answer is that Aguinaga is planning to coach in the future, but he's getting certified by FIFA at the moment and taking some courses to formalize his knowledge. He said that he wants to coach the NT some day, but only when the time is right and he's had a good trajectory coaching other teams.

Very smart and considerate of him. He is showing he wants the best for Ecuador and not just jumping in and relying on his popularity, but on his knowledge as a player, and the knowledge he is formally getting.

I honestly think that's the best way; even if others have coached without formal experience. Like anything else, the more that you're prepared will lessen the possibility of failure.
