I know this isn't E-Quakes related, but what do you guys think of the new BS boards?

    Personally, I think they SUCK!
    Very Un-Bigsoccer to me

    :(

    Oh well.

Yeah, I liked BS before cuz it wasn't exactly like every other board out there.

I'm not so fond of this look. I think it's very "cookie cutter" and cheap looking.

But, it's just a change. We'll all get used to it rather quickly I'm sure. I'm not here for the look of the board anyway. It's still BS underneath it all.

Well, it's different. I'm sure we'll get used to it.

Well, I like the new "My Bigsoccer" area. I think it's better than the "user cp" that we used to have. Things just seem better organized.

I also like the new WYSIWYG posting. Makes formatting posts easier.

I think it's cool. Still needs some getting used to, but I'm getting used to it. :)

I also like the quick reply feature. But there's no WYSIWIG here. Hmmm.... Still it's pretty cool.

It's looking a lot more normal-- I was willing to give the changes some time, as I'm sure Huss and his merry men were working out all the kinks and wrinkles.

Appears that all the old features, especially for the preemies like me, they have returned in full force.

And about the colour scheme here... we do love blue, don't we? :D

The new design looks Ok to me.
The font size used to show poster's name is probably too big - but I hope this is something I can customize (need to check this)

It's better now than it was early-early this morning. This morning it looked like completely Non-BS!

Yes, but if you read the announcement, you will see they aren't done yet.

It's looking better and better. :)

    Some negatives:
Why do I have to hit the quick reply button every time I want to do this..
Where is my favorite Edit Post feature?
    MY SIGGY?!

-I assume to help keep you from accidently trying to post. It's still better than having to wait for the reply page to load. Though it's not a lot of time. But I still like it.

-The edit post feature was there before. I assume it will be back. I used it yesterday.

    -Siggies were there yesterday too.

Give them some time IBT. These kinda things take time, and there's always issues to work out.

    Sigi ate Rodrigo Faria.

I'm a big fan of having as much stuff a click away as possible. What bothers me the most right now is having to click on the "Boards" link in the header graphic instead of having the quick links for MLS: N&A, MLS: Team Forums, etc. on the homepage.

I do dig the blue though :)

    it does :(

am I the only one that thinks this new bs looks too "modern"? I feel like im in a computer geek message board not a soccer message board! change the colors a bit from the blue so it feels more like the old big soccer.

this will surely affect posting quality and it will get me some time to get used to it and post the top quality posts Im known for.

Once subscriptions are fixed the rest will fall into place. We have them working on the dev site so hopefully we'll push it live tonight.

is anyone else getting a "server busy" message? I thought that was the whole point of changing servers. What a load.
