Nice title. I think Adu the Aris-tocrat would have been slightly better.

    Always a critic!

I've got Aris-totle in my back pocket, too.

If you had gone with that, I would have busted out an Adu-related joke about actuality and potentiality in Aristotle's metaphysics.

Trust me, it would have killed.

Good thread title. Except that it makes me think of this:

"Uh. Okay. So, uh, what do you call your act?"

    "The Aris-tocrats!"

    FYI:

I removed some posts that had to do with fan behavior. While the initial consensus among the mods was that a legitimate question had been asked, we were quickly confronted with evidence that the conversation would go to an area that was outside the range of discussion designated for this forum and would likely offend without sufficient reason people who have been generous and courteous participants in YA. I should also note that the decision to remove the posts was mine.

I think you were right the first time. The Aris supporters here have already said that that is not what they're all about, so unless the people asking the question were notorious trolls who are all about offending people, we've missed a chance to learn more about Freddy's new club, which is a shame.

Noone likes hooliganism but unfortunately police and government dont take the needed measures for it. The solution for this year was to prevent the movement of fans from the away teams. So at Greek stadiums there is only home crowd. Of course this is not a solution, its like we say in Greece if your hand hurts cut it.
Just an answer to the curious friend since i dont have any problem to discuss about it. You propably saw this
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PnbQxrRjWo"]YouTube- ARIS vs PAOK APOBOLH TOU CONCEICAO[/ame]
and it happens to be the answer to paok fans who did this one week earlier.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO_JMUjCpRE&NR=1"]YouTube- paok - ARIS Thaumaste tin ahdia pou legete toumpa...[/ame]

As you see we throw papers and they throw glass bottles and explosive thingies.
Another match that paok fans tend to do it every time we have corner.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2bFAyU3dEs"]YouTube- P???-Aris 2008 sto kamini tis Toumpas[/ame]

Of course we are the hateful rivals and Thessaloniki is split at half at these games. But we dont do anything bad if we are not provoked.
A huge analysis of Aris-paok will come in 2 weeks when we play against each other.

They play Kavala, the team directly behind them in the league standings, on Saturday.

Kavala, the team standing in the way of Aris' European dream. They are fighting for the last playoff spot and Aris also have to play them in the Greek Cup semis.
