Yes I found that comment and folder but the files won't play or download for me because of the maxed out message. Probably why I'm not seeing it in the main directory as a folder...
Working now though on my phone at least so will check if it shows up now [emoji106]

Player was Elena d'Hondt, taken to hospitaal and no further news so far.
Quite an entertaining game so far, much better than last week's. Kika v Es directly responsible for the second PSV goal after some lacklustre defending (instead of simply clearing the ball tries something fancy and got stripped [emoji849]).
Twente have had the upper hand for most of the game, 3-2 lead now and third Twente goal not a good look for v Veenendaal either [emoji848][emoji2960]
Joelle Smits with the two PSV goals, definitely bought her shooting boots with her this week (both good finishes). Missed quite a lot last week...

No coach can help/, just plead/beg Pernille Harder to come back after yesterday’s debacle with Wolfsburg in severe need for firepower.

so the NED/USA friendly is on. This will be a great chance for the Dutch to make an statement with an decisive win. And honestly with the lack of activity from the US side, it’s really for Wiegman to loose. Can’t find much info on the US camp(or at least in the BS forum) do you think The long awaited Macario will be making her debut for the US?

Have to see what the lineup is. Considering some of the major players are not playing or are in Europe playing for their club, Netherlands could beat the U.S. Like to see how the new younger players do.

I never take too much from friendlies. Much depends on who the coaches opt to play--their normal starters or perhaps new faces/younger players to get a look at them. But should be an interesting match.

Which side be bringing in new players? Wiegman don’t seem to want to change her lineup much, which sort of similar with the US under Ellis. Holland producing some new promising players like snoeijs, Nouwen, Wilms....but watching this last Sunday Jansen scoring one of her patented, spectacular......OWN goals, does not exactly inspire confidence in our defense!

Meantime didn’t watch the watered down, NWSL fall series but names mentioned as possible USWNT’s... Balcer, Mace, Cook(and of course Macario), but cept for the last one, not exactly household names....and that the slow poke, Sinclair, was the leading of the fall series, makes me wonder how talented the rest of the field was

Well the US just added Morgan to their squad. Alex has had exactly 20 minutes of playing time with the Tottenham Spurs this season, as she’s been to unfit to play. So the usual bread & butter for the US; having a very deep squad is apparently not there this time around.
Do even a stronger reason why the Dutch should win. Netherlands is actually unbeaten since the 2019 WC final, but managed to fall from #3 to 4th. Maybe a nice showing will get them higher in FIFA’s ranking system next time around?

Macario is in the camp, but will not be on the game roster as her paperwork has not made it through the system yet.

Here is the camp roster. Apparently, there are some players not on that roster who nevertheless may be on the game roster.

USWNT – NETHERLANDS TRAINING CAMP ROSTER (CLUB; CAPS/GOALS)

GOALKEEPERS (3): Aubrey Bledsoe (Washington Spirit; 0), Jane Campbell (Houston Dash; 3), Alyssa Naeher (Chicago Red Stars; 63)

DEFENDERS (8): Alana Cook (Paris Saint-Germain, FRA; 1/0), Abby Dahlkemper (NC Courage; 61/0), Tierna Davidson (Chicago Red Stars; 26/1), Crystal Dunn (Portland Thorns FC; 104/24), Kelley O’Hara (Utah Royals FC; 131/2), Margaret Purce (Sky Blue FC; 1/0), Becky Sauerbrunn (Portland Thorns FC; 177/0), Emily Sonnett (Orlando Pride; 45/0)

MIDFIELDERS (6): Julie Ertz (Chicago Red Stars; 102/20), Lindsey Horan (Portland Thorns FC; 86/19), Rose Lavelle (Manchester City, ENG; 45/12), Catarina Macario (Stanford; 0/0), Kristie Mewis (Houston Dash; 15/1), Samantha Mewis (Manchester City, ENG; 67/18)

FORWARDS (6): Ashley Hatch (Washington Spirit; 2/0), Tobin Heath (Manchester United, ENG; 168/33), Alex Morgan (Tottenham Hotspur, ENG; 169/107), Christen Press (Manchester United, ENG; 138/58), Sophia Smith (Portland Thorns FC; 0/0), Lynn Williams (NC Courage; 28/9)

Miedema out with a hip injury, replaced by Pelova who somewhat surprisingly was left out of the initial squad. I guess it was vd Sanden who took her spot compared to the previous matches: https://nos.nl/l/2357353
Kika v Es in the squad has been quite poor so far this season ...

Twente v Ajax shown this week, should be interesting. Twente with back to back must win games to stay in contention. Already beat PSV last week and a win today puts them back in the mix.
The Belgian international that was injured, Elena Dhont, has a broken kneecap [emoji37]
1-1 in the meanwhile, poor touch in Twente defence led to dispossesion and shot & goal. Equalizer an own goal by vd Gragt after a Twente cornerkick [emoji1] share-04.jpg

The Dutch are without Wiegman today--some sort of family emergency. Without her and Miedema, I don't think The Netherlands has much chance. Roord is starting at center forward in place of Miedema, which I doubt will work as she has no experience in that position--or at least no experience at CF for a number of years, unless I've missed it. Beyond that, the Dutch are starting Van Dongen and Wilms at outside back. That's also apt to be a problem against the mighty U.S. Wilms certainly has potential but is young and has never had a test like this. I think this is her first start for the NT...so, do well! Van Dongen is a player who is fine against weak or middling clubs but gets exposed by good teams. She is left-footed playing on the left side, but you need to drive inside at times and she doesn't really do that because I don't think she has much confidence in her weaker foot/side. Finally, Nouwen is starting beside Jansen at centerback. Like Wilms, Nouwen has potential but is young and so let's hope she fares well today. She's had some recent starts in Euro qualifiers--but against weak teams in which neither she nor the team had to play any defense! It's easy to play CB when your team has the ball for 90 percent of the match. Today will be different--but good experience at the least for the two young defenders, and that will help the team in the runup to the Olympics.

this would be the most vulerable the US ever been. I mean its the longest layoff in history, plus the majority have seen so little playing time in the watered down schedule of the NWSL, which got to wonder about ow well conditioned the US players are compared to the Dutch players have been going full speed ahead for their various clubs. So I would say a least tie from the Dutch(if not a win). Otherwise what will that tell you about Euro soccer?(if the Euro champs can't win under such favorable circumstances)

Jill has played as a 9 for Arsenal when Viv was not on the pitch. Not more than 90 minutes overall.

Well, the U.S. bossed the Dutch in the first half, which I rather expected--but I was glad to see The Netherlands come out and play in their normal 4-3-3 and take their lumps rather than in the completely defensive formation Wiegman used in the WC final. The big problem was, as mentioned above, the Dutch outside backs: They were exposed by the Americans--Van Dongman doesn't have the pace, strength or overall quality to compete with a team as physical, fast and athletic as the U.S.---and young Wilms was over her head and lost the ball a few times that led to trouble. The U.S. press is effective, they turn you offer--and then they are very dangerous going forward with few defenders back. That's how they scored--and the could have scored two/three goals in that half, to be frank.

I thought Janseen was very good in the first 28, and then she made a couple of bad passes that led to opportunities for the U.S. I also though Van de Donk was quite good. It's just hard to play a top opponent with a 4-3-3 when outside backs are questionable. Also, Van Veenendaal seems rusty--she's not kicking the ball very well, perhaps because of the recent injury she had.

With Miedema and Van der Gragt back, the Dutch will be stronger. That might mean moving Beerensteyn to outside back, which would help, though it's not a natural position for her. Wilms just needs more experience and to get stronger. Nouen looks like a promising young centerback--she does not seem to lack for confidence. The question would be, where to play Roord when Miedema is on the pitch. Wiegman could start Van de Sanden at forward, move Beerensteyn back, and then decide what to do with Roord. I think Spitse's game is beginning to fall off--but she runs the team very well, is one of the best free-kick specialists in the world, and so will surely continue to start through the Olympics if not longer.

However this match turns out, and it's now 2-0 U.S., it will help the Dutch--but they're not beating the U.S. until the outside back position is shored up. Maybe Van Lunteren comes back after her pregnancy break--but not sure if she will or not. She's said she will return to Ajax, but maybe Wiegman can convince her to return to the NT as well.
