Joelz your boy didn't look very good today. If Valencia continues to play how he did when he came on today, Nani could be in trouble again

Nani are you ok? Are you ok Nani?

Looks like the red has in fact brought Nani out of his groove. Shame.

Well the Manchester formation and personnel decision was a mess in my opinion. Fletcher on the left wing? Park as a CAM? Nani wasn't playing particularly well or bad before he was substituted. He wasn't running at the defense almost at all which I found odd. In my opinion, I would have removed park, inserted Fletcher into the CM role, push Pauly into the CAM role, and allow Valencia to come in to replace Park.

Manchester United got the result though, from a good performance from Rooney. We will see how Nani does on the return leg.

Fletcher had a really good game today, even tho he was on the wing...he has played on the right wing on a couple of occasions, mostly last year. Park had a really good game today considering he was in a different role than usual. I was impressed by him as a CAM.

And Rooney is playing the best soccer in the world right now. Seriously.

Hmmm. Fletcher didn't have a good game. Besides the pass he sent to Rooney, we was a mess going forward and defending. Park was a little better in the CAM role I will admit.

Rooney is on fire though, I think thats 24 goals for him in all competition so far....

You got to look beyond that. Scholes goal was complete luck. Although his ball to Rooney was suburb.

Here we go again. Why can't people let him make a few mistakes after a month and a half of nothing but wonderful performaces? The final ball didn't work out for him last night but he was trying to do the right things. To be fair, Rooney was a little immobile in the first half and Nani did put in crosses but there was no one there to run at them.

He's gonna be suspended for three weeks now, so hopefully it won't have a bad affect on him. And hopefull fingers crossed he'll ahve a good international break and come back nice and fresh, ready to take the right wing back in his favour.:D

That Scholes goal was crazy. He couldn't do that again if he tried, and it slid perfectly to the far post. However, the cross to give Scholes the shot was awesome, it fell right to his boot. The second one to Rooney was the highlight of the game, however.
