I've been job-hunting (mainly online) for the last few weeks, and today, while taking a break here on BS, I noticed the ridiculous amount of pages of threads we have here in the DC United Forum. I then checked every other club's forum, MLS General, and MLS N&A... the results? We have roughly 200 pages worth of threads more than any other club, and have even outpaced the MLS General Forum.
I know I've done more than my fair share of polluting the airwaves, but you'll all be spared for the next few days. I'm off to Glacier Bay.
I wonder whether the stadium feasibility study mentions the fact that our forum far outpaces all others in number of posts, beating even the much larger cities/Metro areas.
If you don't mind relocating to Cleveland I may be able to help you out. I'm a recruiter/headhunter. If you're interested PM me. I suppose I'll give that offer out to anyone else here since I kinda like you guys. I doubt many of you would be interested in relocating, but with the job market the way it is, who knows.
It might be because, DC fans are more, soccer savvy. But it's probably because, we have more to vent about.
Me? Fat? Well maybe a tad chubby. But you can't accuse me of looking at the ball when I'm dribbling .
Why are you always picking on me, Owen? I'd write a long post about it, but typing takes so much effort ...
Never go in against a Sicilian when death is involved. As for staying fit; play rugby or soccer at a competitive level, carbs = good, fat = bad, run 13 miles 3 times a week (I go MWF).
