Why not? Boxing is a combat sport.

Wow! Holm TKOS Ronda in an upset 59s in the 2nd rd.

I jumped outta my seat with joy. It was crazy. Dana white lost a lot of money.but he made big in sales as they broke records.

Slightly off topic, Has anyone been following Ronaldo's Instagram? At least 25 percent of the people he is following are combat athletes. He's a pretty big fight fan. I think that's pretty cool.

Big week for MMA this week. Aldo vs CMG on Sat... should be fun, tonight is an underrated card, too.

I hope Jose beats the pulp out of that Irish prick. Too cocky!

Paige Van Zant got dominated. Oh man! Completely outclassed by thug rose. It was impressive. Rose might get a title shot but nobody beats joanna. She's too good right now.

And Sage Northcutt, all the hype, yet so many holes. Not impressed. Needs more work with tristar.

Connor McGregor beat Also in 13 seconds. Embarrassment.

    THE FUTURE IS MOVEMENT.

He has incredible dexterity, on the feet and boxing.

Looks like Weidman finally fought Someone just as young. He also didn't have the size advantage he had in every other fight. I was not surprised he lost the fight.

As soon as he faces a ground and pound grappler with a big name (Dos Anjos), McGregor is finished. He has no answer for a fighter like that. I fear that the UFC is going to avoid those kind of opponents for him because it doesn't benefit the business if he loses. He's the company's new cash cow.

Do you guys like McGregor, since he's a European champion?

McGregor looked like McGasser against Diaz, shit was pathetic. He had a full camp. Guess that "touch butt in the park" didn't do much for his cardio.

Diaz ate his punches like nothing. Huge difference when McGregor fights a durable guy with good cardio that is 6 feet tall. This fight showed that McGregor needs to stay in his midget division. Diaz did not land his one-two combo until the second round and once he landed it, Conor got rocked.

Rashad Evans got KTFO for only the second time in his career. I actually think he might be done to be honest, his days as a top-level LHW are over.

It seemed to all start with the loss to Jon Jones. Once that happened, he went on a downward spiral.

I just recently learned that McGregor visited the Shinobi Mixed Martial Arts academy in the Algarve a few days ago.

Maybe this is his way to paying his respect to Joao Carvalho?

I found a old video of him training there on YouTube. I know a lot of you don't like him, but I think he's a pretty cool guy that came from nothing like most Portuguese people that become successful.

He goes there every once in awhile, he has friends that train in Portugal. Our gym has alot of ties to Ireland, lots of the coaches are Irish. That video was from 2013, but he's spent some time there recently.

People are also speculating that Carvalho's death has caused him to not want to do the promotional work for the Diaz rematch, so he got pulled from the fight.

Who is everyone's favourite fighter by the way? I'm a huge Cain fan. He's always had a natural physique, he's always been clean. I just love the fact that alot of the fighters he beat ended up testing positive for steroids.

    Cain is just a monster.

He had a run in with ours truly as well...

A natural physique LOL. Weird how since they have became more strict in testing cains cardio runs out in one round and gets his ass whooped by werdum

That fight took place at high altitude. Cain's never done that before.

Brazilians are notoriously known for juicing, i wouldn't be surprised if Werdum gets caught. He seems like he became a good striker overnight.
