The Post is just reheated Fox. Like, literally. The paper it's printed on would be better used as TP.

I know they've been attacking everything de Blasio has done from day one but in this case they do have a point. Hopefully the next mayor will be more competent.

They're regurgitating the same false claims, and trying to pin it on a guy who wasn't even involved in the meeting. They're full of crap as usual; they've been caught lying so many times they're banned as a source on Wikipedia. They're a propaganda rag, and shame on Levine for using them as a mouthpiece.

Was there. It was lit. Again. Nice to score the first goal, and get the first win, in our own stadium.

Yea everyone is chasing the WaPo and NYT to the bottom of journalistic integrity and quality. NYP hasn't quite stooped that low yet.

So you're going with a pro-forma (even knee-jerk) attack on the source rather than, you know, addressing the issue?

Shrewd indeed, since your only other option is to openly argue that the DeBlasio administration is not a complete embarrassment to intelligence.

So you're saying that Wikipedia is the gold standard for non-ideological, clinically accurate information? Fascinating.

As for being caught "lying" (as opposed to, oh I dunno, saying things with which you disagree) one could write a very very long book documenting the lies the New York times has promulgated over the last five years alone.

    Get serious.

It's New York. Everything is negotiable.

Except the stadium in Flushing, Queens of course, and the West Side stadium.

But I think the three parties are pretty close to an agreement.

Yeah, I think this is a sign that something is imminent. A company isn't going to borrow such a large sum of cash (and begin accruing interest on it) unless they're going to use it soon.

Or they never plan to use it for an actual stadium. It could just be to mitigate losses due to Covid under the guise of a new stadium.

I think what he's saying is that it's possible that CFG is mentioning the stadium as part of the reason for borrowing the money, but it's really just being taken out to cover revenue shortfalls related to the pandemic.

Except if that were the case, they would just say it. No one would begrudge the group that need.

13k at Yankee Stadium today. Nothing to do with Covid, the cheapest tickets from the box office were $48.
