Started this early for CCC but I can't find an attendance for San Diego v Pumas UNAM. It looked good for this competition at this time of year. Elsewhere there were 6,038 at Vancouver FC v Cruz Azul and an estimated 4,500 at Forge FC v Tigres UANL.
22,650 in SD. And not all Pumas fans like it would've been in the old day. Source: https://www.sandiegofc.com/news/san...ake-an-impact-in-concacaf-champions-cup-debut
Miami playing these higher than normal intensity friendlies might not be a good idea if they want Messi to finish the season healthy...
The Vancouver match vs Cruz Azul might have been a sellout. Official capacity 6,500 and attendance 6,000. Too round of a number to be exact attendance, so likely a sellout. NOTE: to the geographically challenged, the city of Hamilton (home of the Forge) is just 28 miles outside of Toronto. So its basically a Toronto team.
Time to see if MLS teams are a big draw in the CCC. 11,934 at Pumas for SD. 4,647 at Cruz Azul for Vancouver FC (not MLS but somewhat relevant) in Honduras 11,530 for LAFC 290 at a neutral Canadian site for Ottawa vs Nashville Highest attendance of the round so far: 22,902 for Tigres vs Forge, impressively beating out the 19,889 Club America got for the (imo) marquee matchup of the round against Olimpia.
NWSL Denver Summit off to a good start: Denver Summit, an NWSL expansion team, says 45,000+ tickets sold for inaugural home match March 28 at Empower Field vs Washington Spirit, which will break the single-game league attendance record of 40,091.— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) February 19, 2026
On an interview to Don Garber he mentioned that 80k are expected for MIAMI at LAFC, what’s your average attendance prediction for this first weekend of MLS? last year was 24,627
Cruz Azul had to move out of Estadio Azteca for renovations and played at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes in 2024, Estadio Olimpico in 2025, and now Puebla in 2026. Attendances may have suffered. They only attracted 7,519 in a league match against Atlas, compared to 20,543 two seasons ago and 39,254 at the Azteca.
Yeah, and second highest attendance of the round is still impressive especially away from your regular stadium.
The coliseum can look quite majestic, with the torch lit especially, but this renovation where they added a bunch of luxury boxes by blocking the view for a bunch of seats is ... Questionable. Someone is probably going to spend $2000 for the Olympics opening ceremony and end up there lol
