It is estimated that there are currently around 100 fans in the stadium right now for the Ulsan HD vs Mamelodi Sundowns... The stadium has a capacity of 25,500 fans. pic.twitter.com/jlsxx0ANSR— No Context Club World Cup (@NoContextEPL) June 17, 2025 And here comes the shit talking about Americans, as if there is a country other than Japan where people would show up for this! (Japan had decent attendance even for tiny clubs in their CWCs)
If this were the Mission Impossible world you'd be an acolyte of the Entity. Quit falling for the algorithm. (Yes, I just got back from seeing the new one)
40,311 at the Rose bowl for inter against Monterey. I've been at the Rose bowl for a weekday friendly between inter and Chelsea with an attendance over 80k.
Morocco. The average attendance in 2022 was 40,325, the lowest was 30,000. Pretty much any soccer mad developed country outside of Europe and South America. Of course the ticket revenue wouldn't be anywhere near. The British media wants the competition to fail (just like they did the World Cup) so I'd take any reporting and social media with a huge rock of salt. I have no idea why you go down these negative rabbit holes. It's like a depressed person working in a mortuary and spending his time off reading gravestones.
The actual attendance was about 3k which isn't too bad for two niche clubs in the US. The turnout hasn't been too bad even for some of the clubs you wouldn't think would have US based or travelling fans. I think also there's a lot of US bashing going around with this and next year, so that's why they want to make everything look bad. It seems to be a trend now where no host is ever going to appease everyone.
The British have a superiority complex when it comes to football combined have an inferiority complex when it comes to Americans (I say this as an Englishman now living in England after 27 years in the states). They also hate FIFA and the Club World Cup, which has been pretty much ignored in the UK over the last 25 years even when it's featured English teams. They actively want this experiment to fail. Soccer is an about the only outlet left where the English feel superior to Americans. This is expressed through the media. The fact that it's communicated in English makes it all the more stinging to Americans, many of whom have an inferiority complex when it comes to soccer. I have no idea what the Spanish, Italians, Brazilians and Russians are saying about the Club World Cup and I don't care, which in all honesty could be the American attitude to the British media. If the Founding Fathers had chosen German as their official language, which according to an urban legend nearly happened, you all wouldn't give two hoots what the British media was saying.
Why would be that?. I don't say that you are wrong but I never noticed an inferiority complex while living in UK.
Were you in London? We have a national inferiority complex. The only time we feel culturally superior is when we're drunk.
Pachuca vs Energy Drink Salzburg playing in Ohio 🤣😂😭😭Ffs man… who is making these decisions? pic.twitter.com/wb8EYmLBtz— Tactical Manager (@ManagerTactical) June 18, 2025 This would get 10k+ in L.A. or N.Y.
Another big test of Messi popularity tomorrow. No home team involved and playing in the afternoon of a workday. Tickets currently starting at $80.

34,015 for Mexico vs Suriname at AT&T Stadium, the second lowest attendance for Mexico in this stadium. Speculation with first hand accounts that fear of immigration policies played a role https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/f..., 34,015 fans,2024, when 32,623 fans attended.
