He will probably miss the WC next year, because no team will touch him (Look how much Rome paid for a similar situation) and he has a 15 million clause on his contract. And BTW ALex has a great season with Guimaraes last year, and he started the last 2 games for Portugal and did better than expected

Last year before the Euro, Benfica offered Sokota a contract extention, but he didn't sign it because he thought he could get more money outside of Portugal. Then in December, I think he had already talked with Porto, and probably signed a contract with them. So Benfica sent him to the B team for the rest of the season.

Now it's in the legal system, and they tend to favor the worker 90% of the time. Now, all you can do is hope Benfica's lawyers, have done their homework.

Dias Ferreira (his lawyer) first said that the contract was noterized (Proved False), then he said Miguels Contract was not valid (Again False), now he says he has a 30 day trial. But he forget he signed the contract 2 years agoo and he got a pay increase. That will prove false soon. So who is ill-advising him. A great lagarto, Dias Ferreira.
