Can't disagree with this. Coaching royally f*cked up the last game in TNT, from tactics to players selection, including the lifeless and passionless captain America.
thought experiment -imagine us against England and Belgium in Russia. the only people broken hearted this lot failed is USSF and it's sponsors.
https://www.starsandstripesfc.com/2...r-prediction-september-friendly-brazil-mexico There's just one that comes up randomly on my google app that I check out occasionally. The "Scuffed" podcast (I think that's the name) didn't say to include him, but that he is right there and wouldn't be called in just because Toronto needs him to fight for the playoffs!
......that our dinosaur coach kept calling in......there was and is more talent waiting for a chance than that team had in total.
Bradley should take the lead from Dempsey, and follow suits. Clint Dempsey announces retirement after stellar 15-year career https://sports.yahoo.com/clint-dempsey-announces-retirement-stellar-165348843.html
Something I hadn't realized: even though Bradley is four years younger than Clint, they've actually had equally long professional careers and were both selected in the same MLS draft.
He could be our Xabi Alonso in Bayern: just standing in the middle to distribute balls and try to tackle anyone within a 6 yard radius. I think Mike can still play a bench role. Fans have to get over their personal preferences and realize we can't just put all the kids out there (most of them are not even playing league games, setting young players for failure when they're rusty is a bad idea). This whole narrative that sitting on the bench of some U23 team in Europe can magically elevate a player above MLS level is bunk.
I disagree that MB was the main problem (ahough he was probably part of the problem IMO) but the Conrad quote is actual and one can have a reasonable opinion that MB’s primarily to blame, even if you and I disagree with him. That is far far different from the accusation you’ve put out there wrt Jones and Chandler. That’s not an opinion but rather a series of actions that you appear to state as fact. If it is, please source it as I’ve not heard it before.
David Guzman causes the turnover and slots it home. 2-0. #PORvTOR https://t.co/Ox1CLyCL3S— Major League Soccer (@MLS) August 30, 2018 not his best moment.
Also not even close to his only moment like that. It’s pretty regular at this point or any point for like 5 years. He just kind of sucks. Both as a captain and as a midfielder.
Or we could play someone who can distribute passes and actually move. I'd tsk Shaun Davis over him every day of the week, as just one example. Or a number of others. Bradley needs to get out of the way already and let others lead.
True. It's a matter of form. In yesterday's game, Bradley didn't look like an international quality player at all.
This is amazing, and something all too common. Seriously, he hasn't been good in years, but it has just always been the conditioned response of the media and fans that we need the Captain to provide leadership! And many want him "leading" our team against Brazil and Mexico in a week!!
Again, you must be smoking some really good (or in this case terrible) sh***ttttt These so called 'kids' are doing pretty damn well in their last 6 games for the US. Much better than what I've seen from Captain forever in his 6 recent appearances with the USMNT So yeah......can't blame the fans for going bullish on the young stocks.
People underestimate this fact. Bradley has put in a ton of miles from a very early age. A similar situation happened to Rooney once he hit his early thirties. Players can only run through a wall so many times. Bradley's playing time in the last 2 years should have been managed better by the NT coaches IMO. You could probably argue longer than 2 years.
Chievo was 7 years ago bud......SEVEN You need to get off the Bradley horse already and start watching some Torronto games...It might open your eyes.
