The only thing I would criticize him for is being way too much of a ballhog. Other than that, I'd tip my hat to him and ask for a photo and autograph.

ahhhh I remember the days... wake up super early to curse the TV because the camera men didn't focus on the holy bench that sat the holy one.

This made it all worth the while

Great video. Vela hates the Mexican media so much that he practically runs away when Landeros approaches him. And after what Reyes says about Vela being universally adored in San Sabastian, it makes sense why Vela doesn't want to leave (this will hopefully keep him from ever going to the mls).

Hearing Reyes speak about how proud he is to be Mexican and calling out Liga MX for having too many extranjeros.

So which one of our guys had the best or worst season abroad? Any disappointments or surprises?

It's easier to see who had a good run: Chicharito, Guardado, Layún, etc. What about the other end of the spectrum? Marco Fabian's situation is disappointing but I don't think he was terrible when given a chance. Jiménez seems to have redeemed himself towards the end of the season and Ochoa was finally given a chance to show he is good. Gudiño made it to first division on loan but near the end he made a couple of costly mistakes showing he has room to grow. For me, even though he had flashes of futbol brilliance, I think Tecatito Corona left me wanting more.

Tecatito's season was a bit strange. He started off on fire, scoring goals pretty much every game, and then Porto suddenly benched him..I thought that was weird.

When he came back that fire streak he was on was gone.

So are any of our guys abroad getting any hardware this season? A few second places (Lozano, Gutiérrez, Herrera, Corona) and some Europa League qualifiers (Ochoa, Govea). Anyone bringing home a trophy?

Herrera juega la copa de Portugal el miércoles creo, puede ser el único que gane algo esta temporada.
