He took down Lassiter on a 1v1 breakaway. He didn't get any of the ball, all player.

  6. Yes, Kevin Stott is a worthless piece of shite, that's why. Lassiter dives, Howard sees Red.

If Stott is not sacked by the league for this performance I may not bother watching another MLS match again. I'm serious. I'll stick to youth soccer where refs try their best, make mistakes but aren't rewarded for them like the MLS does by keeping worms like Stott on the payroll.

That's your partisanship talking. Howard got all player there, and whether or not Lassiter embellished it is irrelevant. He deserved the red.

  9. ************************, Lassiter jumped over him and then rolled around. Earlier Mathis jumps out of his tackle FROM BEHIND and gets a red for stepping on his assailant. ************ Stott. Mathis should have dived like Lassiter.

    Mathis, mathis he's our man!

You know, without mathis next week really wasn't that big a deal. This week it was death. I would much rather have two strikers and Williams behind them. With Davis on the left and Ramos on the right, it would be a nightmare for the other defense. Mathis just doesn't hustle. OK if his job is the lone striker, not at attacking role.

Grafer stepped up for us before, I guess I hope he does it again. Can't get much energy around us winning.

Zambrano really used to be a good coach. Shep was full of it saying that you can't blame him at the end. Just what the hell was he thinking with the substitutions. When Faria came out, the game was over. Diallo was already limping.

I am sick to my stomach.

He (howard) was trying to stop the ball. I can't say he maliciously took Lassiter down. You can't take a guy down with your stomach.

So it's grafer and his pants next week, for the playoffs.

It didnt even effing matter, the game was shot in the 60th minute....Howard shouldnt' have game out that aggressively that late in the game. It was already over by then...Sh!t it was already over when that prick on teh sideline took out the entire offense....you cant fuking sit back and have them shoot at you for 40 mintues, sooner or later they will score....complete dipsh!t.

I hate to say it, but I agree it was a bad decision on Howard's part. Considering we would have been out of the playoffs a long time ago without him, I guess it is just as well.

No howard, no mathis. How can we win next game, a must win to make the play-offs. I blame the whole team and the coach. OZ made the worst subs I have ever seen in my life. Not to mention how bad the starting line-up was. We always seem to get the worst calls. every thing goes against us. But mathis is the biggest moron I have seen. What was he thinking. faria played the best out of every one and he gets to sit after mathis makes the mistake. If OZ wanted to put a defender in then why not take out the one that is hurt. Diallo had to come out, he was limping and not running well. But faria is our best player right now, and to take him out in that situation was was I don't know, there are no words to describe what i'm feeling right now.

Whether or not it was malicious is irrelevant. He wsa the last defender back, and he took down the guy without getting ball.

I fault Tim for thinking that it mattered if DC scored again or not at 93'.

On replay, he did trip him, not his stomach. But I didn't think it was a red.

    Real supporters don't whine.

I'm cheering for Mr. Pants next week and if the Metro win those pants should go into the Metro Hall of Fame.

For all intents and purposes, Columbus wins the East tonight. The GD is +2 for them, -3 for Metro, and -6 for the Revs (assuming they hold on for the win).

If the results hold, we make the playoffs with:
-- A draw or win (b/c we hold the tiebreak against NE and DC cannot catch 36 points)
    -- A Chicago loss AND a non-win for DC

Any bets that OZ plays for the draw? I see a 5-3-2 alignment on the horizon...

Nope, I predict a 5-1-4, then sub out the 4.

Don't you mean sub out the three, and get the fourth ejected?

    Mathis + Faria + Diallo = Selfish Twits x 3 = head cases X 3

    OZ = Moron Deluxe

I can not beleive the last 48 hours. The Metro had the playoff and the Eastern Conference championship in their hands. Two losses to the Scum - Crap Crap Crap.

I was always going to the NE game, but I really thought it was going to know be a nice Autumn trip in New England. Now it is a must win.

I hope someone in the Metros organization has some magic motivation potion to turn this team around.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

The ref was pitiful, some players made poor decisions, but this game was lost by horrid, abominable, inept coaching.

Stott made the right call. Shepp made a good observation Timmy should have waited back a few steps and let the DC player commit himself.

Ozzie = Steve Sampson. No golden point.
