Inter Miami through to QF of CONCACAF Champions Cup, beating Nashville 3-1 (5-3 agg). Miami with Messi has won 14 games out of 19 or 74%, without only 1 out of 9 or 11%. They've only lost one game with Messi starting and that was the pointless last game last season.
Yeah, and the AG rule is still implemented in C'CAF. Although, a 1-0 win for MIami seems highly unlikely anyway, and that's the only scoreline where AG rule would burn Inter.
Not sure how one motivates themselves to watch an MLS regular season game as they are essentially meaningless.
Sporting Kansas City 2-3 Inter Miami was the third highest attended MLS regular season game in leagues history at 72.610. With over 10M$ ticket revenue in one game.
Messi is selling out NFL-stadiums, second game in a row, most for New England Revolutions in their 28 year history at 65,600. Also became the first player in MLS-history to record multiple goal contributions in 5 games a row. Currently leading the league, goals and assists.
Not until he's at least won everything with Miami, I think he feels good at the moment getting appreciation everywhere. And I don't think he misses that much of being blamed for every failure in Europe.
The 2019 season pretty much his last chance for another CL glory, almost his third club treble. Two goals in CL semi, a goal in CDR final, yet the team still ended up losing. Off course some dumb supporters would expect him to score 9 if opponents team scores 8.
That Dembele mistake in Camp Nou is probably the worst action Messi's team mate has ever done, complete lack of respect for the game. And in the end it probably ended up costing the CL, and treble. Well at least he paid it back in the WC-final.
