Carles Puyol will be out for a month with a broken cheek bone, same injury he had last year only the other side. Will be back training in 10 days with his mask. Oddly enough, Luis Enrique also has a broken cheek bone and will be wearing a similar mask training, also in a week or so. Put those guys with Davids and you've got a trio of super heros.

Seriously, this is an intense time for games as Puyol could miss all league games plus the two quarter final King's Cup games, and the first leg of semis if Barça gets through. So he may be back for the At. Madrid match Feb. 15.

Iniesta also came off with a muscle injury, which Reiziger has as well. Probably Cocu will be moved back into the centre back position if Reiziger is not ready, Davids can fill in in midfield alongside Xavi.

Better news, Kluivert, Overmaars, and Motta are all healthy and can be called, just missing game fitness after their injuries.

Thanks Jeffrey. All I can think of now is Puyol's mop and the word "mask". The first thing that came to mind was Rocky Dennis ;)

As far as the back 4 goes for the next month coupled with a ton of fixtures is, "these are the times that tries men's souls."
