I know there was a thread already on this, but I wanted to give a viewpoint of someone who wasn't involved in it.

I'm in section 131, and there were a lot of new faces in that section last night (more families than normal). Well, when you guys (and gals) started the march in, we could here the drums starting while you all were still in the concourse area. All heads started to turn to catch what was going on, at the atmosphere really started to pick up.

Just wanted to let you know that what you wanted to acomplish, at least in my section happened. I think this is something you all should keep up next season.

After only two weeks of doing this, things are still a little rough around the edges but getting better. This something we definately want to do every game from now on. And with a long offseason ahead of us, we'll have time to fine tune it. Thanks to K and all the ladies and gents of La Norte, Screaming Eagles and Barra Brava. It'll only get better. :)

An issue last night was the Bobblehead give-away. We lost some people that went for the Eddie Airborne Trooper directly whereas some went straight to the walkin place.

I agree that we should continue to do this next season. Perhaps we need some practice in the off-season - you know just go down and tailgate on the muddy banks of the Anacostia and practice... Ok maybe not, but we should keep the walk in going next season!

I was on the quiet side, upper deck (411), and let me tell you it was quite impressive when you guys started coming. The Big Drum was echoing throughout the place even before you appeared.

We're right across from SE and BB, and we could hear you loud and clear all the way across the field and up. You had to be deafening to the benches, and the way those stands were jumping was truly something. It had to be great TV.

By the way, for a non-Spanish speaker, what's the translation of "Barra Brava"?

I think the more we do the more people will see it as a tradition and join in.

Too bad we can't do a few more times this year

no it doesn't sparky. before emulating something, I suggest you look into it first.

And as soon as I get my passport in order, I'll head down to Bolivia...er...135.

Excuse me Mr. MenstrualStar but I believe you are wrong. La Barra Brava does mean Brave fans. Feel free to come down to section 135 anytime to discuss it.

Yeah especially if you have to put up with being abused by some a-hole from CSC Security... If things are not fixed next year one of them is going to get hurt bad.
