I have a cousin who lives in Staten Island and another cousin in Manhattan near the coast. And I grew up in a suburb not too far east of Brooklyn. We’d go there to get weed on occasion in my late teens. Or maybe that was the northeast corner of the Bronx.

I don’t know how accurate these maps are but it’s pretty funny anyway.

 

Most oddly named city in each US state.

Second place in Oregon should be Drain.

 

California's entry should be Rough and Ready.

 

Blue Ball, PA, and Cut and Shoot, TX, beg to differ.

Normal, Illinois, is hoping you don’t notice them.

 

Forgot about that one. Mormon Bar seemed like a weak choice considering all the river-related “Bar” locations dating from the Gold Rush. But I guess the idea of a Mormon Bar is pretty funny.

 

They are actually a thing these days. They are called “Swig.”
