1038749330985938944 is not a valid tweet id Luke Shaw thankfully avoided a serious injury on his England return. No FA update yet but told the Manchester United defender was doing ok this morning https://t.co/8zP0MSnHYW— Simon Peach (@SimonPeach) September 9, 2018
Mourinho has already confirmed that Shaw will be back starting this week in the CL tie vs Young Boys.
So, he is part of stay Mourinho group? 🗣 “We're the ones who go on the pitch. The manager isn't on the pitch is he? He's there to put a team out and put a team out that he thinks can win the game. You look at our team today and we had a very strong team. No excuses. As players we weren't good enough.”- Luke Shaw 🔴 pic.twitter.com/SzjCFcTr0W— Football Tweet ⚽ (@Football__Tweet) October 1, 2018

Lmao. Y'all are weak. Shaw was a bitch and he knows it. He now backs Mourinho publically because he knows Mourinho may have saved him (Shaw) from himself, and in the process, he saved Shaw's career. Just because Pogba is a bitch-ass and Mourinho has fallen out with other 'skill' players in the past, doesn't mean that he doesn't also have a cohort of players who are very loyal to him and appreciate him as their manager.

According to the BBC, Shaw is close to agreeing a new contract with United. Who would have thought so, just a few months back? Shaw stepped it up big time in fairness to him, consistently being one of our best players so far this season.
The Times are claiming that the offer on the table for Shaw is of the tune of £160k/wk on a 5yr contract. Would have preferred it to be a bit shorter (there's still the possibility that this could be 'contract year' play on Shaw's part). A 3yr contract with an option for another would be the right length for me, but if true this shows how Woodward values young talent and.is looking to lock them up to as long a contract as possible. And considering where Shaw was not too long ago, he really should put pen to paper in a hurry as this is as good as it gets for him.
Good for Shaw if he can get that contract to be honest. Don’t really care what the glazers are paying, they ********ed up this club enough as is
Looks like it’s done Luke Shaw new contract agreed. Formal @ManUtd announcement expected soon.— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) October 18, 2018
Def in "jose stay" group. Diff sources diff wages, some reporting £ 190 k / 150 k or some where between those. Cant fathom Ed will give him £190k. Lets hope the contract extension was not his only motivation. https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/luke-shaw-signs-new-contract-with-man-united
What matters is Luke's play, which so far this season has been stellar. He took longer than anyone, myself included, to mentally recover from the horror leg break, but here he is now putting in a solid shift every match. We shall see if he maintains this level of performance now that his new contact is signed, but there's no reason to believe he won't.
