They equalize on a penalty in the 89th, then lose it in the 92nd. Doesn't seem like Reynolds had a strong match personally.
On loan Club Brugge striker Youssoph Badji leaves it late to grab his third goal in four games and give Charleroi all three points against Westerlo 🦓pic.twitter.com/AuynkpqlkM— Get Belgian & Dutch Football News (@GBeNeFN) April 1, 2023 Reynolds was involved on the game winning goal.
Next match - 15 April 2023 Westerlo vs Club Brugge 2:45 PM EST on ESPN + Reynolds should start, no idea why he did not last week. One more point in the last two matches would put the team safe in Playoff 2. Club Brugge is still trying to make Playoff 1. It should be a really good match.

Reynolds goes the distance in a 0-0 draw. Club Brugge had 9 shots on target to Westerlo's 1 shot on target. 13 corners to 4 for Westerlo. It looks like Westerlo struggled everywhere except where it mattered. This point all bus assures that they will be in Playoff 2 with one match left to play. Great season for Reynolds and the team.
I don't know if this is old news, but it cites his agent saying Feyenoord is interested. https://www.retesport.it/calciomerc...el-feyenoord-a-rotterdam-incontro-con-lagente
Next match - 22 April 2023 Westerlo @ Seraing 12:15 PM EST no ESPN+ Last match prior to the playoffs.
So real question here. Is a move to Feyenoord a much different situation that a move to a larger Belgian club? The bottom the the Dutch league is not a whole lot better than the bottom of the Belgian league. The top four teams (Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord and AZ) might be bigger names, but is the situation better? The Dutch league is known as a league without a super strong defensive presence.
The four top Dutch teams are better than the top four Belgium teams. It’s probably a better window for a future move.
Holland's Top 3 are a definite step up in quality over the Belgian Big 5. Dutch sides get out of the CL group stages reasonably regularly and deep runs in the EL and Conference League knock-out rounds are a staple: Feyenoord went out of the EL quarters against Roma after extra time and reached the Conference final last year, while AZ are in the Conference semi final. Even Brugge, for all their domestic success, don't always get out of the UEFA group stages and when they do, their first elimination round game is usually their last. The UEFA Coefficient ranks the Jupiler as Europe's #8 league with the Eredivisie as #6. Not that far behind, you might say, except the gap in points is a chasm. The Eredivisie is on 60 points, a single point behind Ligue 1, while the Jupiler is on 42, not too far ahead of the SPL.
Made a late cameo in 1-1 draw: ⏱️ 89´ 🔄 VERVANGING 🔄 Wissel bij KVC Westerlo. ➡️ Het nummer 21, Bryan Reynolds, komt in het veld.⬅️ Het nummer 11, Maxim De Cuyper, verlaat het veld.#SERWES 1️⃣-1️⃣— KVC Westerlo (@KVCWesterlo) April 22, 2023
Next match - 28 April 2023 Gent @ Westerlo 2:45 PM EST on ESPN+ This is the 1st round of 6. Gent is top with 28 points, Standard has 28, Westerlo 26 and Circle Brugge 26. Lots of pressure on Gent to win this, I think that Standard might be the favorites though. Despite that, Westerlo could surprise. Not sure why Reynolds did not play last week, but if he is out, I would assume the move to Feyenoord is going to happen then.
Next match - 7 May 2023 Westerlo @ Cercle Brugge 7:30 AM EST not on ESPN+ If Westerlo has any real hopes of winning Playoff 2, they need 3 points here. Unless injured, Reynolds will start.
Reynolds gets the start vs Cercle Brugge. Westerlo is losing 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Not a good start.
Next match - 13 May 2023 Standard Liege vs Westerlo 2:45 PM EST not on ESPN + With Westerlo 8 points behind Gent with 4 matches to play, I would not be very surprised to see fewer regular starters playing in these matches. Westerlo has done a great job this season making it to Playoff 2, but with that gone, I would imagine that younger players will see more and more playing time.
Fun fact. If Roma wins the Europa League Reynolds would get a medal as he played one group stage match prior to going out on loan.
