FWIW, he was graded worst on the field by the Italian papers & pundits. He couldn't mark Chiesa and he left Locatelli wide open on the second goal. Wes ate him up as well when he went forward, and his failure to close Wes down left enough room for the lob to De Sciglio for the winner.
Anderlecht appears to be the winner: 📢🇺🇸 Si sblocca l'addio del talento Bryan Reynolds dalla #Roma: sorpasso dell'#Anderlecht sul #ClubBruges, è a un passo dal passaggio in prestito secco senza riscatto ai biamcomalva. In uscita dall'#RSCA Michael Murillo: ci sono #RBNY e #SpartakMoscow @TuttoMercatoWeb— Marco Conterio (@marcoconterio) January 11, 2022 The farewell of talent Bryan Reynolds is released from #Roma : overtaking of #Anderlecht on #ClubBruges , he is one step away from the pass on loan without redemption to the biamcomalva.
The Redemption Tour: Bryan Reynolds at Anderlecht (olf Roma) High and Dry: Bryan Reynolds at Anderlecht (olf Roma) “According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma are finalizing a deal involving Bryan Reynolds to Belgian side Anderlecht. The transfer is expected to be a dry loan with no option to buy included.”
Prediction for March: Mourinho was asked to respond to his latest humiliating defeat to last-in-table Genoa which pushed Roma to 10th in the table: " First I want to say: My personality and world-class tactics are not the only thing that can carry this team. I have won Champions' League, Titles in Many Countries, Cups....I am a champion. I am a winner. I have- as they say in English- 'a heart of a lion'. The owners have treated me well, but look at the players I have to work with.......look at them! Paulisti, Giovanni Van Zucker, Brian Reynolds, Massimo Linguini, Maitland-Niles....they are not at this level. Weak, can not follow a simple instruction, playing scared"....
Have the terms of the loan been released yet? Is it six months or eighteen? Anderlecht seems like a good level for him, they usually qualify for Champions League and I think Kompany is turning into a decent manager. This could be a really good loan for Bryan.
Is there an option to buy? Roma have been linked with Tomas Esteves, the young Porto RB that was on loan at Reading last year.
Anderlecht plays good quality soccer and has a tradition of excellence. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are more successful than Roma over the next 5 years.
Wish his entourage had accepted the loan at the beginning of the year. Say what you want about Jose, but his being an ass at least made it blatantly clear to Brian and his crew that he had to go out on loan. Better than some coach just ignoring him, stringing him along, and letting him rot. That happens a lot. What they paid for him made that unacceptable. Just hammers home why it’s so important for young players to get established and create value before these types of moves. At least he has a shot somewhere decent now.
Still shocking considering how much they payed for a relatively rookie and then just left him out to dry.
Negotiations between AS Roma and Anderlecht over a potential loan with purchase option for USMNT fullback Bryan Reynolds have fallen through, I'm told. Reynolds will head elsewhere.Reynolds still expected to move on loan this month. Other Belgian teams chasing a deal.— Tom Bogert (@tombogert) January 17, 2022
Kortrijk? AS Roma right back Bryan Reynolds still expected to leave the club on loan in January. Kortrijk have asked for him in the last 24 hours - nothing completed with Anderlecht. 🇺🇸🇧🇪 #ASRomaMLS clubs also interested but Belgium could be his next destination.— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) January 17, 2022
Kortrijk sit mid-table and are on a good run of form, unbeaten in 4 with 3 wins. The are currently 9th but only 3 points from 5th placed KAA Gent. If Bryan can get some minutes this might be an idea spot for him. He needs to play, The Jupiter League is a strong competitive league. I hope this works out for him.
We need a Yank in the Jupiter league. Not enough guys pushing themselves against the best in the solar system. Could well have been an autocorrect, but it's Jupiler, named after the sponsoring beer.
AS Roma and Kortrijk are set to reach an agreement for Bryan Reynolds move on loan. Player prepared to accept after negotiations opened four days ago. 🇺🇸🇧🇪 #ASRomaNo Anderlecht, no MLS comeback. Reynolds is now set to join Kortrijk. https://t.co/iNqgQ3JbVW— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) January 21, 2022
I would love this move. Mid-table Belgium club... very close to Europa League Playoff Spot. More importantly... take a look at their transfermarkt page: https://www.transfermarkt.us/kv-kortrijk/startseite/verein/601 Not a single true right-back listed.
