Cool photos. What's KGB? Is that a new brand of soju or is it a vodka? I'm partial to Kim Satgat for soju.

Ha ha. My friends and I must be lushes. It all being soju never occurred to me as too much. Actually, calculating two bottles per person, for a group of six people...that looks about right. The first photo showed what appeared to be an unmistakable sight of soju about to be inhaled.

KGB is some ***************e vodka brand.

But, as the Scottish-Koreans say.... "If it's not dongdongju, it's crap!"

KGB first appeared on NZ shelves about 8 years ago.

It is a NZ drink which you can see on the label. Lemon and Vodka. There is another version with a different mix. and the same company also does a bourbon and cola mix which is common in Korea also.

Really bizarre but you would really struggle to find a hof or bar that doesn't stock it in Korea these days.

Tastes really damn nasty. Far too sweet and after a couple you feel like puking, cos youv'e got so much sugar in ya guts.

we call them 'alkopops' in NZ. They became all the rage in NZ almost a decade ago for girls who didn't like beer and were sick of drinking wine. Generally guys don't drink them unless they want to get called names and laughed at by their mates. There are so many of them now. Go to carrefour and they are exploding all over the drinking aisles.

    enjoy

what..i like KGB..weird. It doesnt even taste like alcohol. But I would never buy KGB. With that money i'd be looking around for Guiness. I must admit Guiness is great. But then again..all that vodka was free so whatever.
