Anybody else digging "Up The Bracket" by The Libertines as much as I am?

After reading all the UK hype, I was sure I'd be disappointed, but this disc sounds great. Recorded live in the studio with Mick Jones (of the Clash, not Foreigner) producing, it's raw and loose, and sounds so much fresher than a lot of the junk being pushed out as "rock" this year.

Good stuff. If you have an extra ticket to the Bowery show let me know.

I am going to that show, but the extra's promised out. They are playing CB's & NorthSix as well...

I think the Washington Post described as a "fabulous mess" or something along that line. Haven't purchased it as I've been on a used only kick lately, but maybe I oughta rethink my policy.

I have to say that I'm not all that impressed by it. I don't think the CD is bad. I just don't think it's anything out of the ordinary.

Just picked it up. I've heard a couple of songs, but I liked what I heard so far. I'm taking it to work tomorrow. Music to update project plans by.

I think the Post got it right when they described it as a fabulous mess. It's kind of raw, but it sounds good.

That really is a good description of that record.
