USL Championship side Louisville City knocks out MLS carpetbaggers aust!n FU 2-1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
So I wondered what atrocity ,blunder,or pants shitting brought one of my ATF threads to the top of my feed.... HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! 10/10 never gets old.
A year or so ago someone did a ranking article on every MLS team's academy. Austin was either at or very near the bottom, with the remark that they had literally NO ONE with first team potential anywhere in the academy. Without at least a few youngsters with some actual talent, youre not going very far in this kind of.competition. Youre left with playing your bench full.of has beens and never was'. Which is a pretty.good description of a USL team.
I understand that I shouldn't take pleasure from someone else's pain. But I make an exception for Austin and TTUN.
Hey, what about Owen Wolff? He was their first homegrown signing. Doesn't he count as a feather in the cap of Austin's academy Pipeline? Hell, shouldn't they include Berhalter, Morris, and Zawadzki too for the same reason? Oh yeah, /sarcasm.
In defense of tony prebort (the first time I have ever defended him ), andy laughlame("Two-Buttons") is not part of the ownership group, just one of his evil-doing minions.
Who in hell did those player ratings? Aside from every offensive field player being over 6 despite scoring one lousy goal, Stuver was a 5.9 after. coughing up five freaking goals? They took a historic ass beating but apparently played really good
They were noshing on chips and queso. Unfortunately, the queso was bad and they had to take a 7 minute bathroom break. Otherwise the ratings seem to hold up to a 1-1 tilt against the league leaders.
What a shitty, no-name lineup. Precou$t must have worked some "business metrics" magic on the player ratings. Seems like they all should have been below 5. Just like they claim that every home match for AFC has been a sellout, it's all smoke and mirrors.
As we know, "sold out" doesn't necessarily mean "full house". But, considering who we're talking about here...
I seriously doubt that they have "sold out" each match since their beginning, and it is very obvious that they are not having anything close to "full houses" for any of their recent matches, and even going back to last season. The crisp Apple TV video feed does not lie. You can believe Precou&t on the "sold-out" part, if you wish.
Precourt saw that we made a manager change and couldn’t help but copy us and do the same the next day.
Brad Stuver - late of Columbus Crew - says that he and his Austin FC teammates found out that the coach had been fired when one of them read it online. You stay classy, FratBoi.
Id just like to note in passing that Austin FC royally stinks. Took a 3-0 ass kicking last night and it wasnt that close
I just found this. Spoiled milk ages better.. https://www.reddit.com/r/AustinFC/comments/111sw99/anthony_precourt_is_an_amazing_owner/
