He hasn't cracked the starting lineup yet and hasn't seen much action.

Romagnoli is finding his place in the team. Paulo bento is smart and knows what the argentinian can do. He is good one-on-one and already showed very good vision and tactical skills. I think he will become our 10, and a very good one!

Yes, it all dates back to the early 30s when the Italians would send over a ship to find all the best Argentine soccer players and hand them Italian passports

Yeah yeah. I already know. That place is full of Germans and Jews too. There are proboly more native bolivians in that country then native Argentinians.

    Re: Romagnoli Thread...The next rochemback?

    Back to the topic...

Is he another Rochemback? Well, IMO Rocha had more of a harder shot, but Romagnoli can pass better and has much better pace. Both, however, tend to be in and out of matches - when they are on their game, they can really lift the team, but when defended well by an opponent, the team may as well be playing with 10 men because these guys need space to be creative...

Comparing Romagnoli and Rochemback is like comparing apples and oranges. 2 completely different types of players. If he contintued to lay off the picanha like he has at Boro, I would take Rochemback every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Are you guys joking? Ramagnoli is waaaaaaay better. He has quick footwork and can pick out a pass even at the most difficult angles.

I have to say there is no comparison. I want my number 10 to be quick with the ball, great passer, and have great penetration. So for me I'd prefer El Pipi, eventhough having the canon that Rochembach has is also lethal.

Ah Romagnoli I wondered where this guy was. Widely considered the most talented player to never get capped by Argentina. Is he playing the #10 role for Sporting? He always played as a winger in Argentina, glad to hear hes playing well.

I like Rochemback's ability to recover the ball something Romagnoli doesn't do. When he is playing you need to have a strong holding mid as Romagnoli will not defend well for the most part.

there's talk of him coming back to san lorenzo. as veracruz still owes money and we need a playmaker, the fans are wanting him to come back to his first love.
