Yep. Two teams with rapists for "legends". Rapists I call rapists. Perhaps it's my ability to acknowledge that, that allows me to see the word, and not react as if I have been terribly attacked by someone bringing up that I am celebrating. Well that and because I'm not. Unlike our own mod RVN. The same mod that attacked and threatened me by PM because I don't like Ole.

It's funny to see people's priorities.

How can we base a judgement on hearsay? That is my issue.

    Now you're playing dumb games.

You invest time and energy because your silly ass came here to tell us how were all devils because we didnt have hige outrage over this.

The 3 guys who posted and spoke down on us for this whole thing are still here supporting the club, investing their time. Just like you.

He and johno are saying that the evidence that was aquired via hacked is conclusive proof that he's guilty.

Tbh i don't even want to argue about wether he is guilty or not. I just want thise 3 guys to back up their words and stop supporting the club. Since the club is praising a rapist.

It's not hearsay. He spent money to get a woman to not speak. There is no world where man pay women for silence where they did nothing wrong. None of us are Piers Morgan here. The last 5 years have made it very clear.

I am not telling you how to feel nor did I call you devils. That's a strawman to try and act like you are being attacked. You are not. This gets going, because people get pissy when others point it out. How did this conversations start again? Because I called Ronaldo a rapist. And then RVN got upset about it.

If you guys don't care, don't think he did it, why even mention it? There are plenty of posts. Why does it trigger you so?

Good journalism is proof. Since when are hacks illegitimate? Were there no spying on US citizens, because we got the info through a hack? Where there no Sony emails because there was a hack?

If anything, the hacks make it more believable. Because they were obtained by journalists, who checked their validity. I mean, that seems pretty obvious.

You're still playing silly games here.

No, you get people pissy. Not the rape claim.

Just quit following the club. Lead the way.

I devoted more energy to this than I wish I did. It's a case of he said, she said. There's no hard evidence of rape and unless Cristiano admits guilt, there's no case against him.

Even what Bild reported, in his account she only said no to the anal, but even then she still went with it. In her account, he's described as awkward and making unwanted advances. Despite him making her uncomfortable, she never chose to leave. She admits she was divorced, single, and working at a night club where her job was to attract men.

Honest opinion, Cristiano is a bit of a weirdo, but someone who works a job like she did needs to how to handle these kind of situations better because you're going to get men who are going to make advances and try to bed you. Did he rape her? She wasn't forceful enough in saying no or to stop what was happening even though this was in her power to do so. She kind of just went along with things and that's very clear in how she describes how things went down. If you're uncomfortable with someone and the things they are doing, you can either allow yourself to put up with it or you can get away from it. Nowhere in her account did she say Cristiano manhandled her and beat her into having sex with him, which is what normally happens in rape cases. He didn't get her drunk or take advantage of her in a state where she couldn't act against what he was doing. She always had the chance to leave, but she kept going along with it without ever being forceful enough to stop it. In my book, this was not rape. It was unwanted sex and it was always in her power to prevent it or stop it.

I know a woman who was raped in a parking garage by a crack addict. That was rape and it's apples and oranges to this situation.

I think you raise an important question. The quality of the source. I want to make something explicitly clear. It wasn't a conversation or a voicemail or emails or recordings that were 'hacked.' Hackers gained access to court records. The quotations in der spiegel piece are not hearsay. They are depositions, sworn testimony.

You are welcome to support United & Ronaldo no matter what he has said or done but don't pretend like the allegations are lightweight. You are the one who is playing games by suggesting the allegations don't hold weight because they came to light via hacking. He settled out of court... because he raped her - which he admitted to in deposition and later changed his testimony. Juve didn't schedule any games in the US because if he goes, there's a chance he's arrested.

As for assessing his play/impact. I was surprised by his involvement against Newcastle. I don't know that I expected him to be Pipo but his movement was very sharp and he was able to create space for himself and others with his movement very effectively. When he gets on the same page with Bruno, it will benefit Bruno a great deal, especially with his runs behind against teams that nominally want to sit deep.

Were you there at the hotel when both were messing about? NO. Were you part of the investigations and involved in the court hearing? NO. He denied the allegations and the lady knew exactly what she was doing going up to the RICH/HANDSOME's athlete's private suite. At the end of the day, it's all going to be he says she says... Problem is, she accepted money because that's what she wanted. When people say his team paid her to shut up because he was guilty, that's not the truth or at least, you can't deem it as the actual truth. Because most celebrities and people who are worth A LOT, they tend to resolve certain situations with the money because having someone making false allegations can taint their reputations and affect their entire careers... She all of a sudden came out and decided to make noise and was attracting attention and they wanted to shut that down immediately. She accepted the money. Again, SHE TOOK THE MONEY. That is a FACT. Then they dropped the charges a little after because there was no evidence that he actually did the crime.

Now, can we get back to talking about FOOTBALL? If you want to talk about Mystery Crimes, false allegations or you just simply want to take digs at him or any other athlete without knowing exactly what happened, GO TO PEOPLE MAGAZINE and get lost.

Cristiano Ronaldo has shown a great character over the years and is known to be the biggest giving athlete to various charities. He's helped and continues to help a lot of people but no one would want to focus on that because it doesn't sell papers or get views.

Hoping he has another fantastic game for us today and keeps on shutting the haters up at 36 f*cking years old!

    VIVA RONALDO!!!

It sure does but I also support Manchester United & Sporting. Didn't know I had to ask for your permission to be a fan of Manchester United.

I grew up following Sporting because my father is from Lisbon and his favourite player was Sà Pinto. Then I grew fond of Manchester United because my mother was born and raised in Stockport. You probably don't even know where that is.

I also fell in love with Real Madrid because of Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo & Ronaldo Nazario. Cristiano Ronaldo joining Real only made it sweeter later on...

Now, where do I go to get my "I'm a Manchester United fan" acceptance card? SMH.

Where things stand currently in the Ronaldo alleged rape case.

Ronaldo rape claims: Explaining the allegations against Manchester United footballer | The Independent

Seems pretty clear now that any criminal case against him is done and over with (pretty much the consensus at this point). All that is left is the civil court case, where the burden of proof is considerably lessened and is ultimately about money, where Mayorga stands to make a lot of it, if she wins.
Interesting that if Ronaldo 'confessed/admitted' of any wrongdoing in a sworn deposition, for the LV PD and the prosecutors' office to ultimately drop the case after reopening it and looking into it further. Kind of weird and hardly makes sense, especially for something as serious as rape...
Suppose that criminal proceedings could always be halted if people were paid off, but that seems like a lot of people that would corrupted and involved in such a cover up. Either that or the case was shutdown because of influence/pressure from up high. But it's seriously doubtful that Ronaldo has the type of political connections in the US to make something like that happen (the way Lance Armstrong did when he managed to shut a federal investigation/prosecution down in that manner).
When it's all said and done, the only people who know with certitude what happened are Ronaldo and Mayorga. No one else knows with certitude and it's all speculation at best...

i don't know why you got offended. i just pointed something out that looked strange. never said you weren't or couldn't be a fan.

i don't know why some of you get so emotional over a simple statement or question on a message board

I'm not offended nor emotional about it. You bluntly just said "Us? ... " As in, how are you one of us?

You should ask yourself, why assume things in the first place? Just like you're assuming I got offended. I simply responded because you needed to get clarification and hopefully, you'll think twice before making assumptions.

    Cheers!
