    "every guy..." ???
    "a goal..." ???

This is a guy who scored more than 100 goals!!

Now, I am of course biased, and there are players I would have brought before Yanagi, among them Sato and probably even Maeda, but...

    (1) Yanagisawa today is better than Okubo, Tamada and Yano.
    (2) As a veteran striker, he would have been the prefect complement, just like Gon was in 2002...

With that said, I am happy he stayed in Kyoto!

He'd be more effective as a "vet" than Kawaguchi

Sadly likely that Sanga will cut him... They did the same with Paulinho when he got the Achille's, two seasons ago. :(

And ha carries one of the most expensive salaries around. I hope Sanga was insured.

Luckily, the new 3-back system seems to work just fine.

If they don't fire the manager or/and they redo half of the team, I will go watch Gamba until the end of the season.

Except for Vegalta, all team in our group fielded the reserves and missed the players who went to the WC.

Still, Kato could not get the 2nd spot, thanks to an old-style pathetic display of gutless soccer in Tokyo.

This summer I am in Tokyo with my 11yo son, and he convinced me to go watch Frontale-Grampus over Bellmare-Sanga. Well, he is already more intelligent than me, seemingly...

Kinda worrying news going around Sanga's forums tonight: goalkeeper Mizutaniw as not a practice and nobody knows why, meaning that the coaching staff as well was wondering why he did not show up. basically, M.I.A.... Considering he's a bit of a crazy type, may are worried something serious happened.
I had no way to check this out, no reports on official sites, so at the moment just sharing the gossip... Hope he's alright...

Any news yet, Goru? Or will Kyoto have to use a different keeper tomorrow?

No news, except that he is alive and he has been seen around, but not practicing. But today everybody expect Hirai to start.

Bad news for Gamba, anyway: Thiego is suspended. basically, you will score at least one goal less--so probably only 3-0?

Yeah, I noticed that Yahoo had Hirai down to start. At least Mizutani has been located.

Here's hoping that Hirai puts a few past Hirai, then. :p

Today's shots were 23-3 for Kyoto Sanga. Not sure something like this ever happened before, but I believe it is fair enough that when you have a club led by idiots, bad karma strikes.

True, this season we have been unlucky, nothing like what happened to Cerezo on Wed or Vissel on Sat ever happened to us, BUT...

    - When you believe you can replace Yuto Sato with Kataoka and Sidiclei with Thiego...

    - When you think you can play like the Japan NT without Honda, Endo and Hasebe...

    - When you keep changing the fcuking line up every goddamn game...

    - When you lose your only International player (Kwak) for injury and you do not bring anybody in...

    - When you're 17th and you believe you're doing fine because you won three games against satellite teams in the Nabisco Cup (where you failed to qualify, anyway...)...

...then, you don't deserve nothing better than being in the 18th spot.

And in the meantime, Hisato Kato, who plays a Meiji period soccer, is still in charge... some say he will go if we lose the next two games, and I believe it would be a hell of a deal. Please Frontale and Reds, PLEASE... it has been now two years of pathetic soccer now, PLEASEEEEE!!!!

I should probably refrain from going o the stadium.

With me in recent years Reds are 0-1-4, the tie being vs Man Utd in a friendly...

But were you wearing any club colours? That might be the problem. I find that if I'm wearing a certain shirt that team might not do so well (unless I'm at the stadium).

EDIT: Perhaps I should have worn my Gamba shirt last night, ne.

Fasten seat belts: the gossip is out that Sanga is finalizing a "BIG" transfer. Some even say it is Matsui coming home to save the club.
I'd expect more something like Murai (JEF) or Yoshida (Vissel)...

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

Well, the buzz this morning is that is going to be Koji Nakata, on a loan.
Still gossip, but I find it credible: (1) Sanga need a player like him; (2) Sanga and Antlers have traded players often lately... we'll see...

What Sanga should do is to snatch Cho Jae-jin, so that finally we could play with a decent, NORMAL two top: either Cho and Yanagisawa or Cho and Miyayoshi.

I assume you'd be wanting to offload Thiego to allow for Cho to play, ne?
One can only hope about Tsuboi. But I knew you'd like that one.

Is it not the link between midfield and attack that is lacking quite a bit? Sure, there are a lot of shots taken, but when the main focus in that link is Diego, who... let's be honest, would rather go on a run and take the glory himself than provide the perfect pass to someone else, it probably needs improving (perhaps playing someone next to Diego to stop him from being so greedy).

    2 questions

    1. Why would the Antlers loan their starting CM out when he has started and played most of their minutes this year?

    2. Why would a player who is starting and playing for a 3 time champion and current contender agree to go to the last place team in the division and play for an awful coach?

The only meaningful answer could be "for money," but perhaps a more realistic answer is that Sanga fans are delusional, as there is nothing else to be...

It expires next year on Jan 31.
He might hate how we play, so far he had only 15 shots in J1 this year.
Still, not too many clubs in J1 would start him...
I believe he'll stay if we remain in J1 and there is a project (=another manager), I doubt he'd stay in J2.

    Oh Kato, oh no!

You put on the same crappy 3-7-0 lineup that gave you three points vs FCT, Marinos and Gamba, but...

    - The ball didn't bounce back on Dutra three times...
    - Kakuda's shot didn't go through 18 legs
    - Miyayoshi's effort was saved...

    AND YOU LOST!!
    AGAIN!!

Oh wow... you say they have a better squad, and one of their subs is called Juninho...

...yup, we don't have Juninho because instead of players like him you picked Kataoka, Thiego and the mummy of Shingo Suzuki...

...and guess what... the chap who gave the assist is called Kusukami, and was for FOUR YEARS in Kyoto, at Doshisha University...

So, back to the beginning of the season, you said our goal was an ACL spot...

Wow... Personally, after what you've done to the team (sending away Paulinho, Yuto Sato, Sidiclei, etc...) I don't care what happen this year... We might get lucky and stay up, or -more likely- fall again in J2.

THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT IS YOU GETTING THE FCUK OUT OF KYOTO!
CALL IT A DAY, DUDE, YOU MAKE THE SOCCER LIFE OF 10,000 SUPPORTERS MISERABLE!!
    GO A-W-A-YYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! :eek::eek::eek:

    Please.

    i watched the game...
    as a "cool down" after reysol's game ^^;;;
man.. sanga really lacks some attitude on the pitch...
todays kawasaki was not a team you couldnt scrap a win against..

kofu, reysol and many other j2 teams look so much fresher on the pitch..
why couldnt sanga get someone like oguro, havenaar mike, keep paulinho
    and and and...???
yanagi alone wont be able to keep them in J1, isolated in the front...
    even robert cullen could have been an option...><;;;

anyway... i hope you guys can manage to turn things around...
