-Urbig is seen as very likely future #1, In fact, Bagelsmann did indicate himself that he sees Urbig as future #1. Question mark is whether hes #1 come Fall or later on. Issue is that if Urbig is planned for 100% come Summer 2027 at Bayern why wait until Summer 2027.....
-Bisseck was left out of WC26, does seem like he could be Rudiger replacement or Anton.
-with Pavlovic, Ouedraogo, Bischof already the beginnings of next gen Ms WILL emerge in SNT. How long until Aseko, Eichhorn etc join them. We already have indications that Reitz might also be given chance too.
-Karl, El Mala will likely follow Wirtz and Musiala in AM/W. How long until Gruda also joins in.

Adeyemi was left out of WC26 by Bagelsmann but he is a type of player who could thrive under Klopp. Looks like his Barca transfer will be announced tomorrow. Lets hope he devs under Flick and plays as much as possible.

 

on topic of Gnabry and Sane both should be axed from SNT. Just have Schade, Adeyemi, Beier etc replace them. I tend to think Klopp molding a Schade, Adeyemi, Beier etc is more worthwhile. Also the 3 named are players who can play all attacking positions too whether W, AM, CF, more flexible and all 3 have shown promise when used in SNT but they barely play with previous coaches mostly scrap mins chances.

-Sane=has been useless for a LONG LONG TIME. Imagine because he scored vs minnows in WCQ that was his ticket for WC26, LOL.

FUN FACT, Sane goal vs Ecuador in 2-1 L was his FIRST EVER for Germany in a tourney....yeah 1 goal in 5 tourneys, LULZ.

-Gnabry=in general is more useful than Sane but he too has same issue they only score in qualifiers, friendly and NL that's it. Real tourneys like EC or WC they barely score, Gnabry has 1 goal in 2 tourneys for Germany. Hes always getting injured near tourneys and missing tourneys.

what use is there for attackers who can barely score in tourneys after numerous chances.....its clear they are a liability. Neither has real skill set to unlock Ds either, I rarely see either really go for dribble, all they do is try to go around Ds and that's basically it.

they aren't even great in counters either, so no dribbling, no counters, back pass too much and you end up with a HUGE nothing, LOL.

I do expect Gnabry because of his experience and that he still plays at Bayern that he likely will get called up with Klopp. Maybe Klopp can utilize him better than previous 3 coaches.

 

Looks like Seimen is out with an injury for a few months.Right when he's trying to establish himself as a starter for a Bundesliga team; not the greatest timing.

 

its okay as long as hes blocked from being #1. As of now reports that Stuttgart will follow his recovery and wont go for transfer but could reasses if its bleak.

in any case, Fall 2026 was never when he would get SNT call up anyways. As he needs to establish himself in 1BL and play CL etc for first time. I think Seimen was always more bound to SNT like Fall 2027 post U21 Euro tbh. After 1 season in 1BL, CL and U21 Euro combined.

 

what's funny is that Baumann, Amiri, Gross, Fuhrich, Andrich are all examples of players who would have been very very well set in Germanys late 90s-04 era.

aka they don't belong if one is honest, but get called up due to lack of options.

Although in this case, Nagelsmann didn't want to integrate and has never been an integrator and choose these older players over young ones.

its far far worse than back in those days where options were limited so forced to call up numerous mediocre players.

I know people like him but personally don't think Leweling belongs either. I feel like he lacks that final quality to really be a difference maker. And given amount of next Gen AM+W emerging, it doesn't make much sense to have him. But I could see Klopp liking him a lot and maybe helps him get better.

I would also ditch Nubel too, Turkey, have fun with that trash transfer.

also not very convinced by Anton either, as a depth option sure but call up, eh....

that's issue with current SNT, too many players on squad feel too much like dead weight, players who shouldn't get called up. I would rather we play next gen players and get them tourney experience over players with limited ceiling.....like if we wont win trophies anyways why waste tourneys on lesser AGING players.

 

What’s wrong with Amiri?
1-Amiri is in same boat as Baumann, people forget that Nagelsmann doesn't only have a Bayern bias he also has a Hoffenheim bias. Both of these 2 players had the breakout for realz in Hoffenheim under Nagelsmann in his 1st ever pro coaching gig. Baumann should NEVER EVER be #1 for Germany, would legit be worst ever Germany #1.

2-Amiri was left out for 5 years until being brought back by Nagelsmann. Tells you that under Low and Flick he was deemed not good enough.

3-Ive followed Amiri career since his YNT days and never thought he had SNT potential especially long term. Hes a decent player but not good enough all said and done.

4-Calling up Amiri over other M or AM+W options that are younger made no sense. Just more of Nagelsmann rather have one of his boys over a next gen players.

I do think that Amiris time really was years ago when we were lacking in options but at this stage, it never made sense.

would be surprising if Klopp calls him up tbh. Main reason if one looks at players Klopp is mentioned and bringing up, it means you need to make room for them and Amiri is a HUGE candidate for chopping block to make room for said players.

 

What people don’t realize about Tom Bischof’s shooting is that he’s literally playing a game of chess with the goal keepers, it’s not just power and precision.

Types of goals you can see in the video :
• Running motion then sneaks in a shot (finesse shot) to catch the GK off guard.
• Knuckle ball technique to send them the wrong way after the shot is already taken
• Literally looking at a side, opening up his whole body towards that direction but going to the exact opposite corner

He is a long shot specialist, one of the best in the world already. The team already said that he’s the second best finisher in the squad behind Kane for a reason. I seriously hope that he gets his chance in midfield this season.

yup something that has to be said about Bischof is that hes a very very very good shoot from long distance something severely lacking in SNT. Whether at Hoffenheim, Bayern or U21 he scores bangers. Hes also very good at FKs, Corners, etc. The combo of him and Karl in U21 was always loads of fun as both combine very well and have that long distance bangers in them on top of technical skills and dribbling etc.

he has some skill sets that one feels like NT hasn't had since Kroos. Kroos was our #1 specialist in a lot of these areas once he was gone its been mostly crickets.

 

Yes, Klopp has his philosophy/ version of positional football and pressing that we will hopefully see with the NT. He didn't just show that at Liverpool but also his BVB days with lesser resources.

This whole Spain debate is really missing the point...There is absolutely nothing wrong with looking at what the Spanish FA has done in the last 10 years. Whether we like it or not their success is impressive....Spain holds every major trophy this cycle ( world cup, Euros, even the Olympics ) their youth teams always thereabout and now even their womens are the current world champions....We can study what they are doing without "copying" their style of play.

We have been overtaken in winning mentality by the Spanish and in talent by the French......We don't have to copy them but no shame in learning from them and putting our own flavour / stamp on.

Tuchel picked a squad to suit Harry Kane, the likes of Wharton, Palmer, Foden all occupy the spaces he likes to drop into. So he went with pacy athletic players to make runs around him or run in behind from his through balls. That fell apart once they faced a top team as they weren't good enough to keep the ball, counter press nor be good enough defensively to do anything other then park the bus.

I honestly feel like we aren't far off the likes of England or Argentina at all, what we need to do is improve our ranking to get the easier draws again.With a similar path to either of those we could have made a SF run with someone like Klopp in charge.

 

that's issue I was never a fan of Enke (I do feel bad at how it ended up with him though). I was in mind at that time that Enke would have been Germanys worst ever #1. Same as I believe that Baumann would be Germanys worst ever #1 and glad we got Neuer over him, LOL.

I was full on board for Youth GKs over him. I was 100% one of those Rensing vs Neuer vs Adler people and 100% believed that was the path DFB needed to take. And they only took it because of tragedy. And Neuer emerged from that.

when it comes to GKs, Im more ruthless because its one of most important positions in XI. You wont go far with decent at best GK.

some people in German footy still think Baumann should be #1 post WC26, I believe that is pointless one should focus on next gen GKs who can play numerous tourneys and have more potential than Baumann.

Andrich and Anton had their usefulness few years ago when there was a lack of options but with numerous Ms and CBs younger, more hungry and more potential their time should be up, tbh.

I believe that numerous players their course has run they were useful to buy time for next gen.

 

I remember reading months ago that Barcelona and Flick really really wanted a very very very fast offensive player as Flick felt the Barca team was lacking such a player to have as an asset to use whenever needed. Hopefully he plays as much as possible and takes next step.

Attacking versatility
Born in Munich on 18 January 2002 to a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother, Adeyemi brings an exciting and versatile attacking profile to the Barça squad. Throughout his career, he has shown his ability to play on either wing as well as through the middle as a centre-forward, combining blistering pace with a powerful left foot.

Re-encounter with Flick
Those qualities make him another valuable option for Hansi Flick, who knows him well. While Adeyemi was at Red Bull Salzburg, his first professional club after coming through the youth ranks at Forstenried, Bayern Munich and SpVgg Unterhaching, the current Barça coach handed him his senior debut for the German national team.

That was almost five years ago, and the two are now reunited in very different circumstances. In the meantime, Adeyemi has spent the last four seasons at Borussia Dortmund, establishing himself in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League, where he has made 48 appearances (37 for the German side and 11 for Salzburg). Two of those came against Barça in last season's competition.

Ambitious
Now reunited with Flick once again, Adeyemi arrives at a club where he can continue to develop and improve on a daily basis. He joins Barcelona eager to prove himself and fully committed to helping his compatriot's side. Although he played an important role during Germany's World Cup qualifying campaign, he was not included in the squad for the final tournament. After a summer free to recharge his batteries and with the whole of pre-season ahead of him, Adeyemi is now officially a Blaugrana.

 

I suspect he will at best be a backup option for Yamal, just like Karl is for olive. Hopefully he gets more playing time, maybe in other roles. Just have to wait and see what Flick does.

 

Adeyemi could play through the middle or on either side. My guess is he will have a similar role to Rashford last season.

 

Barca is a team that tends to play 50+ games per season (4 games more than 1BL with 38 La Liga matches) from 3 competitions. One would expect decent game time at min.

maybe playing in Spain can also improve his overall game as well, become a more complete offensive player.

 

I used to watch Enke, Adler, and Neuer back then. Do you know that Adler had better talent than Neuer . If not for injuries, Adler would have been a beast and we would have had big competition between Stegen, Adler, and Neuer. What made me prefer Adler to be nb 1 in WC 2010 was his lack of mistakes beside his reflexes unlike Neuer who was prone to making mistakes despite having great saves before he turned out to be a legend and the goat of all keepers.
Concerning WC 2026 , I prefered Baumann as nb 1. The way all things happened and how Nagelsmann promised Baumann to be nb 1 before Neuer coming out of retirement 1 month before the WC is totally unprofessional. Neuer wasn't at his best in WC 18 , in 2022 he was at fault for costa rica's goals and should have done better in Japan's goal. In 2024, he watched Merino score the winner goal just like us ( though it wasn't easy to save it but he did not even bother to try). In 2026 , we can't blame him for any of the goals but it was clear he is far away from his prime and become very slow in reflexes( so he didn't make major mistakes but did not make outstanding saves like we are supposed to see from a keeper like Neuer. If not for the lack of competition, we could have seen another nb 1 few years ago.

 

Yes Guys! We finally mean business.

One thing for certain. We are going to be exciting to watch. Klopps philosophy is eye-catching and well balanced.

What excites me with klopps appointment is his track record of improving players beyond their limits. Let's see if he can continue that trend with spending less time with National teams players.
