This seems to have been one quiet off-season in regards to kit speculation. I went and checked and both the 2016 and 2015 threads were created long before this. Anyway, let's get this started... Run, don't walk. Our home Jerseys are now back in stock on Shop Bold! 🙌🙌🙌Buy now: https://t.co/NVknSXXEUB pic.twitter.com/fT6W61AdUe— Seattle Reign FC (@reignfc) January 20, 2017 So I guess the Reign are using the same home kits as last season (otherwise why get additional stock of the old ones). I guess they did use the same home kits for 2014 and 2015, so it's not that surprising. Wonder if we'll see a new away kit, as they've had a different one every year so far.
IIRC I thought I saw something from the Dash where they were talking about their blue away kits in a way that suggested they wouldn't have those same designs again this year. That's all I've got, though.
Yeah, I think Jen Cooper said something during the draft that alluded that the orange and blue kits wouldn't be back.
That was an actual Houston Dash tweet, where they bid farewell to the blue chevrons. So. Many. Memories. We'll miss ya blue kit. Grab yours at https://t.co/xmdxZ1xFxP pic.twitter.com/JRCgqB7XgE— Houston Dash (@HoustonDash) January 4, 2017
How is it that a team that's only been official for 18 days can get their kits released before all the pre-existing teams?
Is NC working on a jersey sponsor or not for '17? Nice kit, though, and yes, nice to see some new numbering font.
Being in the Triangle, they won't have an issue finding a sponsor. Even if they did, Charlotte has a wealth of sponsors avail.
The streaming quality for the Courage should be better than the Flash. WNY always had some of the worst streams in the league. Can you figure out your shit @WNYFlash live stream. Apparently commentators have been MIA searching for that cat the last 30 minutes.— Alex Morgan (@alexmorgan13) August 11, 2013
as someone who routinely watched the Railhawks (which were always streamed live free) I can guarantee the Courage stream & production will be as good as any in the league... Dean Linke, who routinely does NCAA games, will call the games. I dunno if they're going to "set the standard", but they will be one of the best.
Apparently once someone made them release the match schedule before the season started (so you know, people could actually go to games), they decided to delay the kit releases until after the season started... just to spite everyone. Cause, I mean, who cares about preseason jersey sales, it's all about postseason sales... that's where the big money is.
The Spirit haven't ever had a solid-red kit, so I assume the only way a player can have a solid-red kit is if it's the new one. Which is a shame, since the blue-to-red-V kits were so cool. This is super-dull and half-asssed. Though I guess that's a metaphor for the Spirit team itself now...
